I feel very hopeful and encouraged this morning! This scripture says it all!
Malachi 4:2 (KJV)
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
"The Sun of righteousness arise with HEALING in his wings!"
I Believe in HOPE
I have always been a very hopeful and positive person.
It is kinda funny, when I first thought of posting this morning I was thinking about posting about How GREAT Jays training was last night. If you missed it go watch it. It is in my opinion his best training that I have seen in six months here as a member.
I love to watch the sun rise, especially in Spring when everything is coming alive!
The sun inspires me, especially as of late.
So as I thought on this scripture I wanted to share something very personal with you that just happened a month ago.
I have not been able to be very active in the last month because of it.
On Thursday February 13th my wife and I drove down from Missouri to Florida, a two-day trip.
We went to visit our three children and our first grandson.
Two weeks later on February 28 my wife needed emergency surgery.
She almost died on that day. The doctors were shocked at the numbers they saw in my wifes blood. White blood cell count was thru the roof!
It was close, but thank God with His help she is alive today.
We spent the next 17 days in the hospital as my wife slowly recovered.
This all happening as the Pandemic was in its early stages.
I told my wife we need to get out of Florida fast and get home as I saw the number of cases growing.
So on March 16, the same day the Mayor of Fort Lauderdale declared an emergency, we flew out back home on a direct flight to St Louis, leaving our car behind in Florida
The gracious workers for Southwest were so wonderful to us and allowed my wife to get on the very first seats in the front of the plane seeing she could barely walk.
As the plane took off, my wife having two empty seats near the window lay down, and during most of the flight I saw the beautiful sun shining on my wifes lovely face.
As I looked on this scripture came to mind, the Sun of righteousness has risen with HEALING in His wings!
We are now safe back home in Missouri on our 7 acre farm in the country where at present there are no known cases of the virus in our entire county. Wife is doing much better.
Sorry for making this so long. I just wanted to share my heart with all you good folks here. This community has become very special to me in the last months.

Wow what a story and I’m so glad it finished happy. I hope your wife is feeling much better and am so happy you’re both safe and away from the virus. Sounds like one of the few places on Earth that you are safe. 🙏🏻 And 🤞 it doesn’t reach your County.

Hey Phil 😁. Me and my family are all ok and obeying the lockdown. Both cars cleaned inside and out today in the glorious sunshine.
I’m so glad you’re back home safe and sound too.
I’m just going out for a bike ride around the countryside with my son.
I’ve been furloughed for 3-6 weeks so on full pay and not working. With reassurances that it is temporary and if they have to make people redundant it wouldn’t be until September if things carry on as they are until then and it wouldn’t be me as I’m needed for the recovery. So I’ve been gifted time with my son for the Easter break and then homeschooling and time to work in my websites. Got to take all the positives we can out of this awful situation.
