Consolidating efforts, tinkering.

Been spending some time consolidating efforts and focus for online biz, websites, activities...reflecting some on getting more in tune with what I enjoy the most, what I am best at, best uses of money to build business, etc.

First step--realizing that the most efficient way to make decent money fairly quickly and with greater certainty is to pick up extra shifts with my hospital RN job...overtime plus a sign up bonus.

Second step--although I like some of the network marketing stuff I got involved with conceptually--products, potential for Moneymaking and website support...I don't see much certainty in making money in any significant amount really soon. I also think that my personality and temperament is not very sales aggressive, if that makes sense. Especially as I get a little older now. Some similar considerations go into my online store. Will keep them going as I just plain old like them!

My big passion and my best skillset and knowledge base for online Moneymaking seems to be trading Stocks and forex. Realizing that money spent on internet advertising for my other online activities may be more efficiently focused and utilized in building up funds for the stock trading and currency trading. And I feel more control. I don't feel like I am at the mercy of other people deciding to buy something from me, etc. I can use my skills to make money regardless of what someone else thinks.

But I will also be working on a couple of other online projects plus online book writing as welll, even though there are certainly no guarantees of making money --just because I want to and like doing so!

Already have been able to slash a few hundred dollars from my monthly outgo starting in June by cutting out some inefficient money wasters. Plus adding cash flow by the simple decision to pick up extra hospital shifts that are available.

So, I suppose I would also recommend this process to others in a general way--combine pragmatic examination of realistic opportunities and letting go on some of what is not working so well...with still holding on to some activities that may provide potential in the longer term but that you enjoy anyway even if they might not turn out to be moneymakers
