Reflections
As we move towards a new year, we should reflect on all the great things that have happened to us throughout this past year, as well as the bad. Remember that everything that has happened this year has happened to prepare us for the next step in life. (At least this is what I have always believed, and it's a good way to stay positive).
Understand that no matter what you have been through, good or bad, it has happened to you for a reason. It has made you stronger, wiser, smarter, more cautious, a bit more humble, more thoughtful, more courageous, energetic, etc. Whatever it is, you have changed over the past year, and you should reflect upon it as a positive reinforcement for the upcoming year.

I want to let everyone here at WA know that I am grateful for all the help I have received from you, as you have all made me a wiser person this year. You have all helped in teaching me something I knew nothing about last year, and I know I will prosper because of your help as I move into the New Year.
Resolutions
Pay it forward. As I move into 2013, I will take the knowledge I have learned and will help others where I can, and I will continue to learn. Joining WA was the first step in preparing me for MY next step in life.
A bit of tradition
Or superstition... as I prepare for the clock to strike midnight, reflections of the past year will certainly be on the forefront of my mind, however, I will still be holding on to change in one hand for luck, and I'll be decorating my house with foods for luck. A lime in each corner of the house draws away bad energy, a bowl of lentils represents money, and cinnamon is for love. I have heard if you wear yellow underwear it will bring you good energy as well... If you're superstitious, maybe it's worth a shot :)
