Should I use page builder?

Hi everyone,

I have another question for you all. I just upgrade to the PRO version of my theme. Now it let me use the page builder option. It is fun, it let me align my picture a lot more easily, especially in page where I use picture to give people choices to redirect them on the appropriate page. But the row and columns think all work with widget and I'm scared to slow down my website if I use them. Is anyone can tell me if the widget will slow down my site or is I should go with it?

The other thing I use to get pictures lining up if I have a few I want in a row or something is tables.
Bit of pain, but all you have to do tro create simple table in the text section is:

Every command has a start and end. ie

content

Switch on/switch off.
content table header
content row
content data field

So my table with two rows and two columns would look like this:

picture address or url
picture address or url
picture address or url
picture address or url

Just a thought.

Cheers Peter

Thanks for this info will help me understand a bit more the coding.

I don't feel this would be a problem as the page builder is likely creating the code for you and once you create your page, it won't require additional load to your website once it is live.

What you can do is test and if your load times are still good with pages you have built using the internal PageBuilder widget, then it should be fine. I don't think you are going to have any issues here.

Thanks Kyle, I just didn't want to do all that work and then it's not working properly. I'm moving forward with this now thanks again.

Adding more widgets can slow down your site but you can try it and observe it for couple of days to a week and if everything looks fine than use it else remove it.
