I am trying to set up my business email using my domain from GoDaddy. However, I need to verify ownership of the domain supposedly by adding a value to the TXT record here in W
This sounds like you purchased the website address but didnt purchase the hosting - is that correct
Yes, I believe so. I purchased the domain through GoDaddy and I have my website hosted by WA.
wow, ok - so to give the advice is going to be a few more questions. Do you have your website up and are just trying to get your email working, or both are not working
Aw. I just saw this morning that my reply didn't post last night. Well, this is irrelevant now, but, my website works but the email from GoDaddy was requiring me to verify my domain as it is not on their nameservers and I couldn't find where to update the TXT record here on WA, if that was even possible.
Anyway...SOLVED: long story short: I just called GoDaddy and cancelled my email with them and they will be refunding me. I should have done more research on this. It looks like I can set up a professional email and forwarding through WA. Now I know!
