How Do You Define Success In Life

Different Criterias

Everyone has a different idea on what success looks like. For some, just touching someones life is a great feat, for others, seeing the potential in a raw idea or piece of material can set that smile aglow. We all have our own spin on "how do you define success in life" and there are no wrong ways of measuring and accomplishing those feats.

Learning how to do a task towards an endless goal is somewhat daunting, but yet, the knowledge learned will last forever. What did you take the time to learn about for your business this week?

For me, working with my 2 passions keeps the mind busy and the right/left hemispheres of the brain quite active. It was one of those week's where a goal was set to try to accomplish in each of the passions with a focus on learning. It worked!

Accepting The Given

Earlier this week I received an email from Kyle informing me that not only 1, but 4 of my postings on my website had been indexed by Google, all on the same day. So what does that do to the mind? Plenty! The resulting smile of knowing that something had been done right from what had been learned, is now starting to pay off. Hard work from learning never really killed anyone yet and this old dog is still ready to go.

For the second part of this week's success, an answer came from within a problem. After months of searching and not being able to find what was being specifically sought after, I turned to one of the best in the world in their craft. Their answer was a simple "NO". What I was seeking just does not exist.

Not ready to accept defeat, the majority of that day consisted of more research...still nothing! By now, frustrated and feeling slightly devastated, I made a decision to make a small change in the world. Yesterday, a great portion of my day consisted of many pages of graph paper, a good pencil, and a lot of determination. Eureka!!!!! I Did It.

Now, a new creation, a new way of doing something specific for an entire craft, is ready to be unleashed to those artisans looking for that one solution that has eluded them for so long. That is two successes in one week. That smile stretches from ear to ear in knowing that anything can be achieved if you just try.

Don't stop while you are ahead. We have heard that line for years and it still rings quite true. If you just take a bit of yourself and continue to believe, you will get to where you dream of being.

I'm off to set my new goals for the next week, and the next, and so on...
