Get your traffic up and sales will follow. If you can't get your traffic up right away and you don't want to make a purchase through Amazon to qualify, then get another affiliate. Losing Amazon is not the end of your business.

They are a tough bunch to deal with.

I think that this is a great saver in such cases Amazon Affiliates - Great News! I Can Help This Month! Jewel was generous enough to suggest this workaround and we can implement it when needed. Everyone who shops from Amazon can do the same thing for the ones in need. What do you think?

Have you read all of Amazon's terms. After you make your first sale they will have an Amazon employee manually check your site for compliance. If anything doesn't match up your account will be suspended.

Mine was suspended once for no sales. I reapplied a couple months later and was immediately accepted. I then made sure my site was within Amazon Associates terms and after my first sale was verified. Now I'm good to go.

Just a heads up.

I too am interested if someone has some advice. I have good page rank for some of my keywords, but haven't made a sale yet.

I don't like Amazon.

I received a similar email from Amazon Affiliates. While I will try and capture a sale in that timeframe, I am not flustered, given they tell you that you cam reapply at a later date.
