The Mondayest Tuesday ever.
This was the most exhausting Tuesday ever. It honestly felt more like a Monday. You know how when Monday rolls around and you drag your feet going back to work after the weekend. Why are the weekends only 2 days by the way? Well really 1.5 if you consider the fact that you work on Friday then half the day Sunday you are preparing yourself for Monday. Anyway Yesterday wasn't such a bad day for a Monday. Now today on the other hand was most exhausting. Don't get me wrong I do love my job it is quite rewarding emotionally. Just exhausting physically and moneterioly. You see I work in a day program teaching life and job skills to adults who have developmental diabilities. It is very rewarding when one of them reaches a goal. Seeing the pride on their face makes it all worth wild, but some days There is just absolutly no cooperation at all. Usually just from one or two but there are days when several if not all of them are just out of control and today well today was one of those days. I don't know if something was in the air or the water, but there was absolutly no getting through to anyone today! None of them wanted to work on job skills or life skills. These are usually Monday or Friday issues. Not a Tuesday by Tuesday they are usually over the weekend and settling down for some learning well most of them anyway we do have a few that are stubborn every day of the week. Honestly after the day I had I really did not want to come home and have to do any of my daily home chores and to be honest I didn't want to get on here and do work or training either, but I pushed through my chores, then though reluctant picked up the laptop and did my daily routine online as well. I must stay motivated if I want to succeed. So now that the exhaustion has taken it total hold I bid you ado.

To be honest, your job is an extremely challenging one. It's the one where you have to put in creativity, critical thinking, and patience all in one every single day! No wonder you are tired especially when it doesn't go smooth like today! It's okay to feel like that and I admire you for making room at the end of the day to accomplish goals outside of work! I probably would've just gone to bed, but you did it! I hope you get some well deserved rest and recharge for the next day.

What a great job. The blog was well written. And, I think you are giving back to the Universe. What I do when I feel like I had a "beastly" day, as soon as I can I start playing my favorite music. And I will start dancing as well, then pretty soon I am feeling GREAT. Well this works for me, you know that old saying "music calms the beast" is a true fact.
Patricia, I can certainly relate, but it seeme that you persevered, and that is what is important! I hate when Mondays intrude into the regular week!
