Got too exited! Need to change.

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who else is excited??????

Well, I started on WA just about a month ago. I did not know what I was getting into. As a matter of fact, I don't even remember how I came across WA. Something to consider hen you think about your future referrals. I can't even remember how I got here but that just goes to tell you how involved your referrals become on WA because they start learning so much.

I started going thru the course and I have learned a lot. By the way, I'm only on Course 2 Lesson 10.

Some of the things I have accomplished:

• created a site
• purchased a domain
• used the domain on my WA site.
• turned on SSL
• posted some content (paid attention to keyword usage)
• setup email and second user account
• managed page (need to post more)
• got indexed on google
• learned lots more (this list could go on for a while)
• and ...... got too excited!!!

I was just learning learning learning and implementing what I learned.

However, I failed to do one thing very well. I failed to pick the best niche. Even though my website is related to something that I really enjoy, maybe I don't enjoy it enough? While searching the internet, I came across a website and its related FB page that were related to my niche, Mountain Biking.

That's when it happened. I was blown away! The content and images were amazing! I kept reading post after post after post. I wanted to learn more about where, when, how and who the mountain bike posts was related too. I imagined myself traveling to those locations and trying out those trails. When are we free? How much would it cost?

I book-marked the site and FB page and have visited them several times since.

I took a step back and had to analyze my niche. Was it related to something that I think about participating each day? Was it a niche for which I prepare for on the previous day? Where does it take place? Who is involved? What was the problem I had or have that caused me to participate in said activity or activities? Has it or is it helping me with my problem/s? Can it help others with the same problem? Do I love it and enjoy it? Can I blog about it? Have I incurred costs? Can I posts affiliate links related to every aspect related to these activities? Yes! Yes! Yes!........... Yes!!!

So I took off fingers off the keyboard and told myself, "Dude, you need to change your niche!" Now, I was scheduled to go thru the WA courses for about two hours. I had my coffee ready. So, I stood up and wrote my new niche on the little 3 by 4 whiteboard that I had just put up on the wall.

I'm coming for you niche after I finish course 2. I'm going to stop, review my notes and then take action. I'm writing this during lunch and this morning my niche and I hung out together for about one hour.

Again, the training has been amazing! The community here is awesome!

I just got too excited and did not focus on my niche!
