Food for thought about picking a niche
All the advice about picking a niche focuses on : pick a niche to follow your passion, some thing you like doing, experties, potential,etc. I'd like to suggest some other cosiderations for picking a niche based on a niche I picked, the niche is espresso coffee (I'm a coffee lover). I invested alot of time prepairing for it, keyword search, SEO and all. I started writing about a variety of subjects relating to coffee, however after a while I realized that even though I love coffee, and I love making it I didn't really enjoy writing about it. To me the subject appeared shallow, and I lost interest. I guess it could happen with any niche, and so I'm suggesting to take your time, to me that's the most important desicion you will make.

Yes, I agree. If it's something you will lose interest writing about then take your time to find something else that will be more enjoyable to write about. I also like coffee, just plain black coffee with caffeine,lol! So I probably wouldn't have much interest in writing about it!
It has to be something that you can talk about and expand on. I like coffee too but not sure I'd have enough to write about day after day. You'll find the right one.
