I've only downloaded the free StatCounter just about 15 hrs ago, but I love it so much already. Here are just a few things I learned in the short amount of time I've had it.

1. Incoming traffic: 41% direct traffic, 55% social networking sites & 5% search engine referrals.

2. They weed out crawlers & spam bots so you can trust the info. Right now, my audience has been 90.57% US, 5.66% New Zealand & 3.77% Australia

3. From the US 73.58% are from WA (That makes sense), 15.09% are from CA & 1.89% FL

4. 35.3% just stay for 5 secs or less (I need to figure out how to change this), 17.6% stay for less than 30 secs, 23.5% stay for 5 mins or less, 5.9% stay 5-20 mins & 17.6% stay longer than an hr.

There's a whole lot more info... A WHOLE lot! But it's too much to write and this is all free. If my website gets more traffic, I'd totally consider upgrading, but I'm just starting out right now.

5 days into this whole website thing & I'm really loving it.
