Keeping content regular
So far my website goingtobedad.com is doing really well, to be honest it's doing much better than I ever anticipated but, I'm finding difficult to keep the content constant and regular. I'm looking at broadening the horizon of the website in regards to covering some other topics but still in the niche, so not solely focusing on one thing. Would people advise this or have people come across this problem??
I'm so focused now on pushing this forward and putting in the extra hours and sleeping less to make this work, but I need to keep the site's content constant and regular.

Hey Phil try searching in parenting forums for topics, there are tons of issues that spring out of having a new baby. There are perspectives and issues from both parents so the list is very broad but still would compliment your niche. Here is the link to one parenting forum to look for topical ideas for content

When I first started my niche, I felt I had got myself in a corner by narrowing down to one area. I have found that is not the case. Here are a couple of things you can do:
1. Use google alerts. You can use this to get recent articles happening in your niche. This helps to generate ideas.

2. As long as the information you provide is relevant to your niche there is nothing wrong with broadening.
3. The library is another good source of information. Get books on parenting or pregnancy.
4. Talk to other dads and find out what they were worried about or wish they would of known. That's a whole post right there.
You really have to expand your own thinking. It's easy to get yourself boxed in (in your mind) you have to get outside yourself and think what information would a man who is going to be a dad want/need to know.
Some other ideas"
How can he help his partner
Getting ready for the baby to be born
Preparing the nursery
Going to parenting classes
Taking childbirth classes with the mother
So endless.
Hope this helps,
Camille
