Using Social Media For Getting Referrals
So I thought it would be a great idea to use social media as a platform to get referrals for Wealthy Affiliate.
The first round I used Facebook advertising and had many clicks with a lot of people signing up for the free account. Unfortunately few of them, in fact none so far converted to premium membership. With the Faebook bill quite high, I decided to try a different approach.
During the second round I tried facebook groups and twitter feeds, and although I got a lot of clicks, none of them even signed up for a free account. So far, efforts have not reaped rewards, but I will be persistent and try different approaches.
Has any of you tried social media marketing and what has your experience been like? I would love to hear how my fellow WA community experienced this approach.

I do a lot on social media by sharing and posting to groups. If I find something that is converting not just generating clicks then I will invest funds in ads or boosts.
You just have to stick with it and test lots of different approaches. If you do ads try to make sure you have a very targeted audience not too board.

I have had a lot of success with my wife's fitness business using boosted posts but is crashed and burned when using the same strategy with WA .. happy to continue this discussion. Cheers, William.
