Start Your Affiliate Marketing Journey
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Isn't that a great quote from the legendary Zig Ziglar (1926 - 2012)?
And though it applies to life in general, it has particular meaning for anyone starting an online business, including affiliate marketing.
Even if you feel lost, you have to start.
If you've just joined Wealthy Affiliate, it's no use going to Live Chat and saying "I'm lost. What do I do now?" or "I don't understand this. Please help."
Most experienced members won't bother answering. The more sympathetic ones will tell you to follow the training.
Do that. Make a start. Then you'll be able to post a question like "I did such and such but this is what happened (describe in detail). What should I have done?" Then you will get specific, helpful advice.
You will solve that problem and move on to the next.
And gradually the problems disappear.
You're becoming an expert.
Soon you'll be great.
But to start on that journey, you have to... well, start.

Love that quote, Phil! 👍👍😎
Zig’s name always reminds me of the Zig-Zag rolling papers that kids used to roll marijuana “joints” in my younger days.
They still sell them on Amazon.
Back in the late 1960s I had a jacket with their logo on the back that I wore to band practice.
I had to be the only high school Rock guitar player that didn’t smoke anything. My asthma would have landed me in the emergency room. Lol
Anyway, his name always brings back memories of things like lava lamps, black light posters, and peace signs. ✌️☮️😎
Rock On! 🤘

I never thought of them as joint holders, but my Dad used to roll his own cigarettes and there were two brands of papers in fierce competition, Tally Ho and Zig Zag.
Thanks for that left-field comment, Frank.
Hi Phil
Yeah, in the US, Zig-Zag rolling paper became legionary among the pot heads and I imagine still is. 😎
Tally Ho, I’m not familiar with.
Frank 🎸
It might have been a local brand. They had a diagonal cut on one corner that was supposed to help with the rolling and their slogan was "it's easier with cut corners".

The information to the new member about working through the training steps is important. Reading the lessons and getting familiar with the terminology to be able to ask questions is also important.
Each kind of industry has its own language, and Affiliate Marketing is no different. New people must learn the language.
Great share,
Sami
Yes, I totally agree Sami. You can either say "I don't understand" or you can learn to understand.
