Starting Anew at Wealthy Affiliate

This morning I write a blog to announce to my fellow members here at Wealthy Affiliate of my goals and plans to become a super affiliate.

First of all, I feel fortunate to be able to come back to Wealthy Affiliate after two years of blindness, discouragement, and being helpless. I found out how hard it is to cope with blindness and I felt lonely during those two years.

But I realized that I wasn't alone and I had friends who had supported me. They were adjusting and changing because of me. They helped me when I was in need.

I knew that my eyesight will come back again and it did.

As I thought about these things, it leads me to think about coming back to Wealthy Affiliate. I had to save up for the entire 2 years of $23 dollars a month. I knew that I couldn't afford the $47 for the monthly membership fee--and so, I saved.

I renewed my membership at Wealthy Affiliate just in time to be chosen for the Super Affiliate challenge.

I want to show my appreciation to those who helped me come back to Wealthy Affilaite and say thank you.

My About Me Post

Taking the time to brainstorm ideas for my About Me post, I discovered more about what I want to offer to my Super Affiliate Students.

I started over with a new domain name, retiring my StarvingMillionaire. com because I know that I can do better with SuperAffiliatesChoice. com for the simple reason of the audience and the specific of the niche.

But the main problem I have now is I don't have anything to offer to those who wants to become super affiliates--and so, I'm stumped at the About Me page. This is when I came up with the Idea of pretending to be the visitor with a hundred questions. I got this idea when I was visiting Derek Halpern's website SocialTriggers. com/about. I started asking questions and I knew that the only way to get great questions is to ask 100 questions. Here are the 100 questions about my website. Some are answered and some are not.

By doing this little exercise, I've learned more about me and what I want to do with my website

In this case, Wealthy Affiliate is the perfect example of the trust that I'm writing about. They have great products and services and they continue to over deliver with their training year after year.

I was able to come back twice. I know I can depend on Wealthy Affiliate on being here for several more years. We need to be like Wealthy Affiliate. We need to think long term

54. Why do you write reviews?

I write reviews on books and courses I've bought and read or watched.

I write reviews because it helps me digest the material that I've learned. When I write a review, I try for two thousands words because your brain needs to be working for so long before the real nuggets start coming out on the page. You can always edit later. Your brain won't let you repeat the exact same words--and so, you'll come up with something new.

You want your reviews to be captivating, sentence after sentence, paragraph by paragraph. The best way to do this is to tell short short stories. 13 chapters of a book requires 13 short short stories. Find a facebook group and post a short short story about learning how to write a great review. Tell them about your 300 likes and 400 comments and 600 shares. Do this without the links on the post so that readers would have to look for it on your fan page.

You do have a fan page don't you?

If not, here are a few trainings and tutorals:

A Go-Getter's Video

Building a Quality Fan Page

Connect Your Website to a Fan Page

Increase Facebook Reach and Traffic

On your fan page will be the link to your Product Review Course or to your blog with the review. That's how you get Facebook visitors to your website to read your reviews. Your review will be your two thousand word short story. Here is the website that I will be modeling:

FatStacksBlog. com/best-blogging-courses

This will be the layout of my new website at SuperAffiliatesChoice. com. I think the reviews will be personal and it should bring out your brand. Remember, your review is your own personal opinion. No one is going to join you unless they trust you. You need to build that trust first. That way, when your readers return, they are more likely to sign up for what you have to offer.

55. How did you build your website?

56. How much money do you make with your website?

57. I'm a little skeptical, will you please show me the proof that you can make money online?

58. Did you finish the challenge?

59. Did you feel like quiting?

60. Do you know someone personally who is a super affiliate?

61. Name just 3 super affiliates you know?

62. Did you read all these books before writing a review on them?

63. Can you give me a page of written text that is not displayed on Amazon?

64. Do you like to create new ideas?

65. is money attracted to great ideas?

66. is money attracted to new ideas?

67. Why do you have a Start Here page?

A well organized website should always have a Start Here page. I get lost when I visit a website that is fillied with random posts and pages on How to become a Super Affiliate Marketer in 12 to 16 months for an example. Okay, I'm interested, where do I start? A start here page gives your visitors a direction. It will put you in control of where you want your visitors to go. I have two websites that I would like to model after:

HelpingWritersBecomeAuthors. com/resources.

I like this website's layout. K.M. Weiland shows the main features of her website: posts on how to write a novel, software, free ebooks etc... This is a great website to model after. The other website I like to model after is:

SocialTriggers. com/start-here..

Here Derek Halpern gives you all the best posts on his website. Your Start Here page should consist links to posts and tools. Give your visitors a direction, a resources page for them to come back to. The content should be so valuable that your visitors will want to bookmark it.

68. Why do you have a list of your favorite blogs on your front page?

69. What's a values list?

70. Are you resourceful? If you are, money will flow to you. You just need to learn how to tap into your non financial resources.

71. what are your non financial resources? Make a list (This will be your values list.)

72. Are you your own Wealth?

73. Does money flow to you because of your non financial resources? The money that flows to you is the by-product of your non financial resourses. You are your own wealth.

74. Is it true that google will favor your website if you place links of other (relevant) websites on your front page? dub, dub, dub, It's the World Wide Web isn't it?

75. Why do visitors want to bookmark your pages?

76. Why do you write ten thousand word pillar posts?

77. Why are you connected to Amazon?

78. Why should an affiliate marketer write a ten thousand word Short Story?

Because if you can keep your readers engaged for the entire story, you will be able to keep your readers engaged on your blog post too. Write great content and over deliver with value and your readers will want to bookmark your posts for later reading.

79. Why should an affiliate marketer write a 30 thousand word ebook on how to make money (excluding Wealthy Affiliate) online?

Because writing a 30 thousand word ebook and getting it published is the quickest way to build authority. This could be your lead magnet for email marketing or a give-away for those who join Wealthy Affiliate.

80. Why do you suggest that I should read at least 10 blogs a week?

Because if you read great blogs, you'll write great blogs and trying to figure out how this post got over 300 comments and over 200 likes would be a great reason to read 10 blogs a week. In fact, maybe you should read some of the comments as well to find out what others think of the post. It's a whole another reason to read blogs on a regular basis.

81. Why do you suggest that I should comment on the top blogs that are ranking high in the search engines for the keywords that I'm trying to rank for?

To keep up with the Jones and the Weavers, you must read their blogs and comment on them regularly.

82. Why do you suggest that I should read at least 12-15 books a year relating to my niche and write a 2000 word review about it on my blog?

First, to become an expert in your niche requires knowledge and taking action to gain experience. Education is the power to creating wealth.

Second, writing reviews will help you absorb the knowledge you've just learned.

Third, reading will help you break through barriors and allow you the mental positive attitude to succeed.

There are two types of books that an Affiliate Marketer needs to read

  1. Aptitude Books
  2. Attitude Books

Aptitude Books are the books you read to gain more knowledge on your niche. For an Example: Endless Referrals by Bob Burg is a book that teaches you how to turn casual contacts into solid sales opportunities.

Attitude Books are the books you read to build your self-esteem, increase your positve mental attitude and this also includes books that can help you deepen your spiritual growth. Examples are: Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie, and The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peal.

83. How do I write captivating reviews?

84. How can I get my visitors to bookmark my posts?

85. Why do you suggest that I should only write reviews on books of the authors whom have their own blogs? Becasue Authers are professional marketers too and they need to blog on a regular basis?

86. Why do you suggest that I should have a specialized brand (Affiliate Marketing, Sales Funnels, Reviews, Top Affiliate Marketers, Interviews, Facebook, Twitter, SEO , Keyword Research etc...) and a theme (Clickbank, Amazon, Share-a-Sale etc...) for my niche blog?

Read your values list to come up with some ideas. Keep asking these questions: What am I good at? What do I want to be good at?

87. Why do you suggest that I should follow Ray Bradbury's advice to:

  • Make a list of Nouns (example: The Dog, The Blog, The Review etc...)
  • Read 1 Short Story a Day
  • Read 1 Essay a Day
  • Read 1 Poem a Day
  • Write 1000 to 2000 words a day.
  • Write and publish a short story a week (This could be your blog post).

88. Why do you suggest I read 15 novels a year?

89. Pete, you require tons of reading. I'm an affiliate marketer. What benefits will all this reading do for my success?

Content is king and so are those who create it. Reading will fill your mind with new ideas and new keywords for your next blog post.

90. Why are your main posts and images placed on your left and not on your right side of your blog?

91. Why do you write two articles in one post?

      92. Why do you place inbound links to the first article and 2 outbound links to other (relevent websites) that are ranking for that particular keywords.

You do this in two steps:

      1. Write one article for your inbound links and then...
      2. Write a second article for placing two outbound links to your favorite blogs that are ranking for the same keywords.

Why do you recommend The Novel Factory software?

Why do you recommend these writing books?

        • A > unauthorized Writer's Guide to Harry Potter: Updated & Expanded by S.P. Sipal

        • The Writer's Presence by Donald Mcquade and Robert Atwan
        • Writing Tools 50 Essential Strategies for Every Writer by Roy Peter Clark

        93. I've noticed that you don't have adsense on your blog. Don't you want to monetize your blog?

Because I don't want to distract my readers. I want my readers to be totally gripped on my blog post. Adsense is like a land mine. It will break my readers train of thought and I'll lose them and they won't bookmark my posts. And besides, why use that space for uncontrolled ads when you can place ads that you do have control of.

        94. How do you monetize your blog? I use anchor text links and email optin forms. I'll give my audiences value first then I will give them offers that they cannot refuse. I will build trust first.

        95. Why do you recommend these self-help books?

Wow, what an awesome post! You weren't kidding when you said you were coming back. Congratulations on getting chosen for SAC. You are going to have the best website with the most successful online business imaginable. I wish you the best of luck in everything you do.

WOW! There are so many nuggets here, I'm going to have to take a lot longer to really soak in this material! Thank you so much for writing this, I'm so inspired by your journey.
Hope to meet you in person in Vegas!

Thanks Stephanie for the complement. These are questions and Ideas that I've brainstormed on what I wanted to do with my website.

I'm hoping to meet you in Vegas also.

        Pete Weaver

Happy for you on getting your eyesight back.
You've done a good job there coming up with all those questions

Well done and all the best.

        Great work!
        I wish you the best.

        Ingrid

        Thank you Ingrid,

I'll be working on this for a while
It sure takes a while to learn the
        technical part of blogging.

        Pete Weaver

An amazing list of questions. Well done.

I did yearly also, during the Black Friday sale. Wouldn't been able to afford monthly.

Yes, it was the only way for me
        to become a Wealthy Affiliate
        Member again.

The price went up from $47 to $49
        a month.

It is only $359 a year in which is a
better deal for becoming a Super
        Affiliate Marketer.

I keep missing the Black Friday
but I'll get on that when November
        comes again.

        Thanks for the comment

        Pete Weaver

        Well done Pete!
A very comprehensive list of questions, and there will be lots of people who want to know the answers!
You’re off to a strong start!

        KyleAnn

        Thank KyleAnn,

I got this basic idea from visiting Derek
        Halpern's website at SocialTriggers. com/about.

I decided that I would like my about
Page to ask solid questions on being
        a Super Affiliate.

And also Asking 100 questions would help
me define what my website is about.

The visitors will be answering their own
questions and to peak their own curiosity.

        Thanks for the comment

        Pete Weaver
