Hey there WA friends, as promised I was going to do a monthly update and take a look at the previous month and look forward to this one! A lot has changed this month which made me to rethink about the goals set and consider some new goals and a new game plan.

Biggest change this last month was at my office job. I started a new assignment which leads to a lot more comute but a lot more challenge too! Really enjoying it so far and a lot better team. The comute is definitly a con but there are also some pros.

A lot better and more fun team to work with, working 4 longers days per week instead of 5 regular ones. Which gives me a day free per week. Those are the biggest pros. Next to that there is a pro and con. I had to give up my company car but this allows me to work in public transport which I hope to mostly invest into me!

This shook up my month a lot more than expected. Enough about the big change, let's get into the update!

Progress on WA

Goals for May where

  • WA Rank <10000 (Check!)
  • Finish course 2 and 3 of the training (Didn't check)
  • Update my WA Profile (Check!)

2 out of 3 I'll take it. I changed up the game plan big time so therefor following along the training was a bit harder.

Goals for June

  • Finish part 3 of the training

This will be the only goal. I totally let go of the WA rank for the moment as it is not really important for my ambitions and goals. At a later part this will come back again ofcourse.

Progress on the website

Instead of getting the posts published as soon as they are finished I am now saving them up untill I have a certain buffer and can guarantee a 2 post per week.

Goals for May where

  • 10 extra content posts (Didn't check)
  • 1 product review (Didn't check)
  • 10 extra comments on at least 3 different posts (I will need your help!) (Didn't check)
  • Get Google analytics and webmaster ready (Check!)

As you can see I didn't reach most of the set goals but this was also due to the change of plans.I did a lot and I mean a lot with branding and setting up backend things. This made me let go a bit with the creating part. Which is still the most important part in this business. But working on the background parts will help me progress quicker as from now.

Goals for June

  • 10 extra content posts
  • 1 product review
  • 10 extra comments on at least 3 different posts (I will need your help!)

Same goals stand!

Progress in general

Goals for May where

  • Finish reading "the 4-hour work week" by Timothy Ferris. (Didn't check)
  • Getting a work schedule going outside of work (Check!)
  • Picking up exercising again after a 3-month injury! (Check!)
  • Get help to build my business or help with personal task (outsourcing!) (Check!)

The book is almost finished that will be done next week. As you can see behind the scenes a lot worked out! And you can't believe how happy I am getting back into the exercising I already feel the results after 3 weeks of working out. Week 4 started with a heavy workout and I loved it.

Thanks to some friends and family I was able to outsource some stuff so happy days. Ofcourse this will be a one time thing so that won't be a thing later.

Goals for June

  • Finish reading "the 4-hour work week" by Timothy Ferris.
  • Finish up branding (ofcourse this is a constant work in progress)
  • Design the next big move apart from website content

Conclusion

Lot's of things happened and a lot of things didn't but I found a lot of peace in this new way of approaching my online bussines. I really hope this next month is going to bring some big things so I can also share this progress and make it a bit more visual!

Thanks for following along my journey and I hope you enjoyed reading it.

Make it happen!

Peter

Brilliant Peter, love your goals. I have the tendency to break down my goals on a weekly and monthly level in the exact same way. I am going to be doing my June Goal breakdown tomorrow night.

Setting goals from my experience has always lead to more productivity!

Thanks, Kyle, it is definitely helping me get to the next step!

Great goals and progress moving forward!
Best,
Marcus

Thanks Marcus for the ongoing support!
