In South Korea, a man named Cho Ju-bin has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for extortionate nude photos and porn videos of women and girls. He then sold these images via a channel on the Telegram messaging service. This reports Yonhap news agency. He is also said to have made known the identities of several victims. In addition to his prison sentence, he still has to pay a fine of 100 million won. (about $ 89,240)
TikTok / Bytedance
ByteDance, the owner of TikTok, gets another reprieve from the US government. Now they have 7 extra days to complete the sale of the app. Initially, this would be blocked tomorrow, Friday. With this extra extension, the new deadline is now on December 4. It all started through President Donald Trump who considers TikTok a threat to national security.
Berlin
In Berlin, a laboratory is starting an experiment to collect corona tests from hospitals using a drone. Together with a tech company from America, test flights are made between the lab and the hospital. This would of course allow them to work much faster since the drone is not bothered by other traffic. It would be possible to send 60 samples at a time. The lab hopes to deploy them effectively from January 2021.
