Good morning to you wherever you are in the world, and happy Easter to those of you who celebrate it. In many parts of the world Easter has come and gone, but here on the west coast in California Easter is just arriving. Thousands of kids had trouble sleeping last night because they were so excited about Easter morning and it wasn't arriving soon enough. I remember it so well when I was a kid. I knew that the Easter Bunny would come in the night and when I awoke in the morning there would be an

Here we are April 1, 2014 April Fools Day. So I'm really curious about how many people read Kyle's post this morning and how many of you fell for it? The tittle caught my eye immediately, "It's Been A Fun Ride We're Stepping Down". I started reading it and was in total disbelieve. It was so off the wall because there had been no sign of, or indication that something like this could possibly happen. It caught me off guard, it hit me like a brick wall, I just wasn't ready for this. I couldn't e

One of the advantages, although there are many, of being an Internet Marketer is that you can do it from anywhere. How cool is that? As long as you have a decent internet connection and a laptop it really doesn't matter where in the world you are. I never really thought about it much until this weekend. My family has a beach house down in Baja California, Mexico. Photo above shows view from the house. It's less than a four hour drive from Los Angeles. No one had been there for months so I

Does this happen to anyone else? Recently I have had three referrals come to WA through my affiliate link. It seems they sign up as free starters, but that's as far as they go. They were all sent the welcome email and then a follow up reminding them to complete their sign up process and to get started and write a profile page. Not one has even responded. The funny thing is, I'm not even sure where they came from.

I know we are supposed to try and write things that are more relevant to what we are doing here at Wealthy Affiliate. I've been having a little trouble writing for my site so I figured I would write about the severe storm I just experienced, as it was quite remarkable to me. It's something easy to write about and at the least I'm practicing to write. So here I go. Well it's the last day of February and I'm out here in L.A. where the sun shines about 360 days out of the year, but this year has b

This is not really relevant to my goals here at WA. I've had a writing block lately and I just can't seem to snap out of it. I figured since it is Valentin's Day I could write something about it with no pressure of creating quality content for my website. Maybe this exercise will help me get my groove back I'll start with wishing all of the WA community a warm and happy Valentine's Day. What is Valentine's day really mean? I did a little research into the history of this Day of the Lovers. I f

Today in the US of A we honor a great man, leader, and special human being. He fought the fight for human rights and equality for all. He made a huge impact on not only America, but the whole world. He is credited with starting and putting the movement in motion. Although much has been accomplished, there is still a divide in many sectors of our society. So the work must go on through peaceful means until total equality is accomplished in every nook and cranny of America and the entire world. M

I read a lot of discussions and many members blogs. I've come to see that there are many very good writers with so many different styles. Sometimes I think to myself, "if my writing was this good I'd be popping out material left and right". Hopefully some of the talent around here will rub off on me. A broad array of topics are written here, most are relevant to the teaching and training and some is not. The cool thing is that I love it all and I learn from it all. So I want to say thank you to

Winter has failed us miserably in these here parts. I can't remember the last time I saw an ugly and dreary day. I couldn't tell you when the last time it rained was, or the last time I wore a long sleeved shirt, or long pants and shoes with socks. I haven't felt a chill on the back of my neck or seen my own breath when I exhale, in I don't know how long. Am I complaining? Yes I am. Am I tired of endless perfect sunny 80 degree days? Yes, very tired. Do I live in Southern California? Yes, and t
