I have a question regarding Phil1944's suggestion in his post "Why You Should Use Pretty Links", to use a landing page to link to my vendor, instead of linking directly from my
I believe what should be is your "Capture Page" can be found in multiple locations because you use this to take new possible people to your "Landiing Page."
From your Landing page you can bridge to specific page you prefer. Different capture pages or banners can be used in many locations to attract potential new people using the specific content in each.
Having your landing page on the same website is just fine.
If you create a landing page that would work for several posts you can link your posts to one landing page on your site so you don't have to repeat content and so salesy on your other pages.
You can do yes and then redirect elsewhere. Why do you think you would be penalized? I can have on same or different.
You may follow up on Jay's live webinars, you may input "Landing Page Magistudios" in magnifying glass top menu to access resources.
I personally have them on the same website but occasionally otherwise. Should not be an issue I totally understand.

Hi Pablo,
My suggestion is to keep it in the same domain. Just use its own page, don't include it in your menus, and make sure you click the No Index box so that people won't find it organically.
You could use a separate domain. But why?
Cheers.
Edwin
