Bing Ads - Not What I Expected
So, I opted to take advantage of the $100 coupon Bing ads offered me...well, it was a joke. Once I gave them my information they did what they wanted, then cancelled me.
I gave them a $25/day budget, and within the first 15 minutes, they spent $48. I felt a little uneasy about giving them my credit card at this point, as they said in their terms that they would abide the budget I gave them.
I guess they missed elementary school math, because they over shot the budget by nearly 100%. I did not freak out, I just waited.
After another 12 hours...as scared as I was, I checked my account...and, guess what? They closed it. I did nothing wrong other than wait for them to do what they promised, and they closed my account.
I spoke with a rep (Aurora), and she promised, after interviewing me, that they would reinstate the account and things would be fine. Well, as soon as I got off the phone with her, I got an email saying my account was closed - "we don't have to give you a reason", and "case closed".
I opened another account, and they, once again, charged my debit card the money, but closed my account with less than 24 hours.
I have not violated their terms, and they owe me money. I am not speculative, nor am I ranting about just bad service. I am telling you all to stay clear of Bing, as they are dishonest.
Thank you.

That's crazy!!! I almost used their $100 coupon but never got around to it. I am really sorry you are going through this. It's not right.
I still haven't resolved the issue. I can't use my ad account, and the new one I started remains "inactive" - I am just choosing not to work with them at the moment.
My experience isn't a "tell all", but I felt embarrassed and frustrated...I have been with microsoft for many years, and this is the first bad experience I have had, but it definitely impacted me...the customer service has really left me not wanting to do business with them at all. Just my opinion...if you work with them, I wish you better luck and success.
I had trust in them, and they kind of kicked me and told me I didn't matter...I have had a business account with microsoft since the beginning, and their reps didn't care about me at all...I doubt I will go back to them again.

I was just about to sign up to it. I think I'll skip it now. Thanks!
