How To Promote Your Website Offline
In my previous business I used an inexpensive technique I am writing about in this blog to increase exposure and make my customers happy! It worked very well for me and made my business appear larger than what it was and I got more customers. I would not recommend this technique for beginner online marketer, but if you have already made some money with your websites and need to make your product or service more visible to the public, try some or all of the following:
Have a bumper sticker printed up with your website address and other business information. Place it
on the bumper of your car. People will see it when you're driving.
Have some t-shirts made with your web site address and other business information. Your family
or friends could wear them almost anywhere.
Have some ball caps made with your web site address and other business information. Wear them
to keep the sun out of your eyes and promote your business at the same time.
Have some business cards printed up with your web site address and other business information.
Pass them out to people you meet or that might be interested in your business.
Have a magnetic sign made with your web site address and other business information. Give it to people to place it on their refrigerators or cars.
Have some flyers printed out with your web site address and other business information. Keep a few
with you at all times to hang on bulletin boards you see.
Have some jackets printed with your web site address and other business information. Give them away to family and friends. When it's too cold for t-shirts, you can wear jackets.
Have some duffle bags made with your web site address and other business information. Give them to family and friends as gifts or use them for gym or when they travel.
Have some pens imprinted with your web site address and other business information. When you are done filling out your check or signing receipts leave it there for the next person to use or keep.
Have some mugs or even foam sleeves (that keep your bottle cold) imprinted with your web site address and other business information. Use them when you have company or give them away to friends and family as gifts.
It is inexpensive and it really works. People like to get free stuff that imply more value than it really costs you and you will be surprised how much business you can get this way without asking your family and friends!

On my one website I had flyers with information about my website and contact information. I also had pens with my website on them. They are easy to distribute and most people want something for free.
These are very good ideas. I was thinking about cards and flyers myself once I get doing better.

There is a pen company that I used to order from all the time, I forgot their name, but I can look for it if you are interested. It is really cheap and they have not just pens, but all kind of stuff. They still keep sending me samples in the mail after all those years after I sold my business, ha, ha!
I think that it is National Pen, but I am not completely sure. I know that they will be sending me samples before holidays and as soon as I get one, I will let you know for sure!

Thanks for the suggestions. Of cos! I think vista print can provide what you are suggesting e.g pens, caps, flyers etc with your company name or website name. This comes with a cost but it isn't too bad! Great! Cheers for that.
