There is Purpose in Finding Purpose (I'm Back)

What do I mean by this?

Well, I’ve been a lurking member for around 6 Months but I literally never touched my websites until least last couple days. Meaning, I’ve wasted money these past months by not taking action.

So this leads us to the next question: What the hell were you doing in these last six months?

Well there are a couple of things like school, work, family issues, but the main problem was this:
I don’t know who I am.

I have that typical exsistential crisis that people experience in their lifetime. You know, when they ask themselves: Who am I? What is my purpose? What do I want to do in Life?

Because these questions didn’t have answers, I found myself very discouraged to write about anything. I’d open a website once in a while but then later close it because what I wrote didn’t feel true to who I was.

Only a couple of days ago I realized why I was at a road block.

Well, there are a couple of things:

• I wanted to write like an expert, but I’m not one
• These websites (mostly lifestyle niches) are relevant for me, therefore I can’t be hypocritical in the way I act (I wanted to practice what I preached)
• I don’t give myself permission to write without making mistakes
• I don’t have any special degrees or am I an expert in anything

So Why am I Back? What happened?

In these last months, I made a couple of discoveries that have helped me come back and try this again.

-You don’t have to be an expert onanything.
In any niche, I find you can write about the journey’s themselves rather than it’s end products or service. Life is a journey, be its student.

– I have time to figure this out.
I can’t master any skill overnight, or memorize the stocks. You’d need to be a genius to do that (Although mother thinks I am XD). It takes time and patience to know what you’re actually doing. It took Colonel Sanders (KFC) 65 Years of his life to find his niche. Be optimistic and stick to it.

– Something is better than nothing
When wanting to learn anything you first have to start somewhere. There is no point in trying to play it safe when it comes to learning something. With luck you’ll get your first steps right and your moving. If you trip then get up and try again and this time you know what to do. If you”re going to stumble might as well stumble forward.
I wanted each article to be perfect but that never happaned because i was too critical on myself that instead of a perfect article being produced, no article was.

Have I discovered myself?

No. But I think thats the point of life at this moment. It's more so about the journey than the destination. I have no doubt that there will be roadblocks ahead but when you live in the moment, that's just another lesson to be learned. You can only take things a day at a time.

The present is where you can find most meaning, not your future vision.

Let’s do this

There are many more lessons I have to share but for now I just want to get back on the grind. I am more optimistic about myself and my future, and having the student mindset when it comes to WA is key for me.
