I've been taught to drink 1 liter of water first thing in the morning when I get up. When I started doing that regularly, I started feeling much "fresher" and energized throughout the day

thanks for that, when you live here in Asia you tend to drink more water so or so as it is too hot to drink the sweet things, and they make you more thirsty
