Progress Beats Perfection Every Time
Progress Beats Perfection Every Time
“Done is better than perfect.” - Common productivity wisdom

One of the biggest reasons beginners quit affiliate marketing is the desire to be perfect.
- Perfect website.
- Perfect article.
- Perfect strategy.
I made the same mistake. I rewrote articles endlessly instead of publishing them. And guess what? No traffic came, because nothing was live.
Progress only happens when you move forward.
Affiliate marketing rewards action, not hesitation. A simple post published today is far more valuable than a perfect post that never sees the light of day.
Your skills will improve after you publish, not before.

Thanks.
Paul.

I haven’t figured out everything yet, I’ve launched! So I agree with this. There is always an opportunity to launch a beta version. Unlike IG, our blogs/articles aren’t gone in 48hrs. So it’s worth launching and then make continuous improvements to your article. The information you release in the world will be helpful to someone and you will reap the rewards eventually
Exactly, Linda. So sweet of you to share your experience.
I started as a complete beginner at Wealthy Affiliate and I can relate to it well.
Me too. I am learning a lot and something’s haven’t clicked yet but every day I move forward.. tiny progress over perfection. I am not looking to become know it all overnight.
Yes, progress beats perfection, for sure. I decided to publish no matter what when I started, Paul, and man, my posts were really terrible! In the end, I don't think my bad posts hurt anything, and it made it easy to revisit and edit them. I couldn't make them any worse!

Hey Paul.
Nice, you articulated it right. Perfect and perfection are nice ideals to have. But they are illusions (pipe dreams) In the real world, they are never achieved, and yes they not only steal time but also your enthusiasm.
They help deflate your drive, making you less willing to keep going forward.
Just saying ^_^ for a friend Cheers
You explained it so well, Paul.
Thanks.
Thanks
You are welcome.
