There’s no debate here.
Quantum superposition, entanglement, and tunneling are all a well-documented physical phenomena.
Quantum superposition is what powers quantum computers, which use Qubits. So, a Qubit can be off (0), on (1), or off and on simultaneously (0 and 1). Yes, this has been simplified for a general audience.
D-Wave has been selling quantum computers for years and IBM is also on the cutting edge.
I work as a healthcare Informaticist with a group of physicists and engineers. We are developing mathematical models for quantum blockchain.

We're not working with quantum cryptocurrency. My involvement is for safer blockchain integration into electronic health records.
It's been estimated that a quantum computer with about 2 billion Qubits could break blockchain security. So this is part of what we're looking at, along with potential future solutions.
