Is it just me.is it normal to feel this way?
So, everyone here knows that part of our training requires you to check out peoples websites and we are encouraged to give feedback on it. yeah???
I can't help but feel my website totally sucks.. Is that normal?? Have any other members felt this same way at the beginning.
Seeing so many AMAZING websites and then being asked to give feedback on them.. I'm like...'Oh WOW, so cool, and 'wow I love this one! and then I'm like.. 'oh wow', this one is my fave, no this one is, nope I think this one totally rocks.. And I look at my site and my shoulders just slump..."How do I make my site look this awesome"???
The point I'm trying to make here is that, I should never compare myself to anyone. And neither should you.
It's ok if a member got indexed on their first week, It's ok if a member made $100 - $1000 this month and I made nothing. I can't let things like that deter me from hitting my goals.
This is my life, this is my journey, If I want it bad enough, I will do what it takes.
Another WA member gave me feedback on my site today, and he reminded me about changing my mindset, and being consistent. It took me back to my Why!, and reminded me that it doesn't matter who's behind me, beside me or ahead of me. I just need to stay focused on what matters to me. Stay on my own path and focus on my journey.
If you are new like me, I encourage you to do the same, don't feel disheartened or discouraged. Stay inspired and motivated and we too will be successful.

What an excellent post, full of common sense, we are what we are, given that thought we must do what we think is best for us, but realising that we must look at others ideas and listen to what they. This does not mean that we have to copy them, but do what we want to do.

Good post Patty, some good information in it, as for your own website, No, they are never like everyone elses, especially in the beginning, BUT as time goes by and you see wha tothers do, your own site evolves into a site you are happy with
I'm far from happy with my own urrently, its okay, but not as I would like it, but I have looked at a couple of good people here and viewed their websites, to gain some inspiration on layout
Of the three I have looked at, one Iike, ones ok, bu the third, is one whic I really like and am evolving mine to be like theirs, especially given their page rank and domain authority
So its all a work in progress, then when you like your own, the whole journey starts again!!

Excellent points Patty. Every one of us is different - we like different things, have different niches, have different amounts of time we can spend. What we ALL want is to be successful though and we all can be if we keep up and have your attitude. Even the people who's website you so admire started somewhere, from nothing, and I bet they felt they needed to improve in the beginning like you. But they did, they stuck with it and they succeeded.
And we can all do the same by following their examples.

I feel like that a lot but then when I get feedback from other members I changed what they suggested and my sites look a lot better.
You are only new here, carry on with the training as there are lots to get through and you will see it grow before your eyes.
You are building something for the long term so at the moment you are laying strong foundations to grow a successful business.
Also, remember the members who are earning a lot of money here were in the same place as you are now at one time or another.
