One Month Update
Hey WA Friends
I thought I would post a quick overview of my time here at WA. It's been a little over a month and I have learned so much and come to love this whole endeavor. Here is a quick overview of journey.
11/ 5 2014, I started WA as a free member
11/12 Became a premium - one year
11/19 Finished all training and built 2 websites: javaforlife.com and mywritingministry.com . That was good, but it was also really bad as I expected to see some results. Stats kept growing, but I was hoping for some financial response. Silly me. This will take time. Now, I did go through it fast, but I did learn alot and I am very grateful for it. In fact, it continues to be a learning experience. Everyday I am learning something. One really big thing I learned is the huge difference between my original site which I built about 8 years ago and the new ones now. The internet has changed so much and WA has helped so much to understand the current situation.
11/25 Created a Woo Commerce shop on my site: Java for Life and then created an extension store on my Facebook (Java For Life) - plugin "StoreYa". I really like the Facebook store. I actually have it on 4 of my FB pages I am managing [the 4 I am managing are: Java For Life, My Writing Ministry, Life Streams, and Pastor Tae Shin] I uploaded 5 ebooks I wrote. I haven't found a group of WAers who are doing ecomm on their wp. It would be nice to get connected with some people here. One prominent member of WA said that eccommerce is not really the model that WA promotes as opposed to affiliate marketing. I understand. And maybe he's right since I don't see a lot of people doing it. But I don't see a problem of combining both....with the traffic coming in, they can engage both.

12/18 Sent out first newsletter "Java for Life" with 346 subscribers. You are invited to subscribe. I'm using Mail Poet. It's simple to use. Never send out an email newsletter on a Friday night. It takes forever!
11/5 to 12/19 Stat update: 533 users, 6959 page views.
Next venture: Click Bank - hoping to promote my ebooks there.
I am thankful for the training and the WA friends who are so positive and encouraging. I hope to return the favor. If anyone needs my help, I would be very happy to do so.

Amazing progress Pastor Tae...remember, building a website is like farming. Some crops take only a few months to sprout and produce while orchard trees take a longer time to harvest. The wonderful thing about orchard trees is they produce year after year without a lot of effort.
Sow and keep on sowing. You will reap an abundant harvest in due time. To everything their is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven. :)

Thanks. I don't know much about that coffee affiliate. Commission junction is a massive list of aff. links and it's a bit overwhelming. We'll see.... Do you have any insights or experience with that link?
I did open an account back in 2010
But never used it. I may still have it. I did not use it,As I had moved on to something else. It looked pretty good.Hope that this helps.Ken
