Success! Book finished and published!
About a week ago I mentioned that I was putting the finishing touches to my book 'Kelly Blue' and I'm now happy to report that it is finished and available on Amazon.
I'm now working on the marketing part and for me it's harder than the writing because it's not anywhere near as enjoyable but it has to be done and to that end I've created a website.. www.allandanahay.com which at the moment is just the bare bones.
Would appreciate any comments on the site and if you like detective tales then 'Kelly Blue' '….and down came a spider….' A story of murder, cocaine, blackmail and surprisingly love when least expected. may be right up your street.
The jazz lovers among you will recognize my private eye's name as being a well known musicians name in reverse and there are references throughout the book of recognizable figures in jazz history, Miles, Ella, Duke etc.
I'll report on the success (or otherwise) and the steps I take on the way.
So website done and twitter campaign soon to start and I'll be submitting the book to a number of reviewers for their opinion....fingers crossed....Allan
