What to focus on Wealthy Affiliate?

Wealthy Affiliate is a great platform. It has all the knowledge required to make you a successful affiliate. It has created such a large community and the support from here is tremendous. I would say second to none.

That said, you need to know what to focus for in wealthy affiliate. Especially if you just recently joined or haven't explored Wealthy Affiliate much, you need to make sure that you are looking at the right things. Not the things that don't matter.

Here are the things that you should and shouldn't focus in Wealthy Affiliate.

DO focus creating a solid profile. Make sure you write up you bio and add some pictures. You can even post a blog to update people about your life and how you are doing with the progress in the online world. You want to tell people that you are a real person and not just another scammer. This will create more engagement and a higher likelihood of people befriending you.

DON'T focus on the rankings. This is easy to do, especially when you first join. You try to chase after that ranking because you want that sense of recognition. You don't want to be someone ranked really low right? Well, here is the truth. If you focus on working towards your website and the trainings, the rankings will automatically climb up. Don't focus on it because at the end of the day, rankings won't earn you any income. It is the knowledge that you gain to build a successful website that will!

DO focus on the trainings. TO THE TEE. The folks here know what they are doing. Kyle, Carson, Jay and many other top affiliates have been in the business for very long. Don't ignore what they right or say. Follow all the steps in the training and attend live events. The information that you gain will be beyond belief.

DON'T focus on another affiliate's income success. I mean it is nice to know that a fellow affiliate is doing really well. Go and congratulate them. But don't think about it too much. Because if you just started, chances are you won't make that much soon. It will take time. And if you look to make that income after just writing a blog, it just won't happen. Use it as a fuel to work hard, don't look at it as something that you will make.

DO ask questions when you need help. Wealthy Affiliate is a truly service-oriented community so people will help if you need. Don't feel intimidated or think a question might be silly. It is okay to ask if you get stuck because that is what the community is here for. We want to make you a better affiliate marketer and of course you won't know everything in the beginning so ASK!

DON'T have a negative mindset. Come in to the platform with an optimistic approach. Actually believe that affiliate marketing is a real thing and a viable way to make income. This is when you start seeing things that others with a negative attitude won't. This is when you will truly start working hard. Because you have faith. Without faith, you wouldn't persist, so keep that firmly in your mind.

Wealthy Affiliate is such a great platform and honestly is here to help. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the clutter of things, so I just wanted to help you keep that focus so that you stay in your path. This is obvious just the surface of the do's and don't's of WA, but I hope it provided some sort of clarity to get started the right way.
