The Truth of Affiliate Marketing

When you first heard about affiliate marketing, you might have seen/heard from people about making a lot of money and how much freedom you will have. This is true. But, it is not that easy. It's never that easy.

In fact, affiliate marketing is hardest thing to do well in. It is not for the ones that don't have grit. It's not for those that don't have a burning desire to succeed. Because, it is a field that is so easy to give up in. With our world advancing so quickly and things getting easier everyday, no wonder a lot of people don't succeed.

Everyone wants instant gratification, and no one understands the hard work it takes. Affiliate marketing is no 'get rich quick' scheme. You don't just pluck money out of the tree here. It takes tremendous amount of consistent work. It takes constant learning, improving and catering your platform to what is required by your audience.

It is a business that requires your attention everyday. Because things change everyday. New customers or readers might come into your website and write something that needs your immediate attention. You need to build reputation.

If you don't have that, you simply won't succeed. It is not just about writing a ton of blog posts. If it was, anyone who could write would be successful. It is those who are able to consistently write blog posts, tweak their websites, input rich keywords, increase traffic and learn and develop their skills that will be successful.

I don't mean to write this post to scare anyone. I just merely write to open anyones' eyes so that you can see what it takes to do well. The good thing is anyone can do it. The cold hard though, not everyone does.
