Who is Wealthy Affiliate For?
This idea came to me when I was updating my Wealthy Affiliate website last night. I thought about the different types of people I see here in the community. It truly is a diverse mix, but four types stood out to me because they're so common here. You can read about them in my post:

Interestingly, I don't fall into any of those four categories. I found Wealthy Affiliate by accident, since I wasn't looking for anything like this, but I could easily see how it could fit into my overall online business strategy.
The great thing about Wealthy Affiliate is that it has something for everyone, whether you have online business experience like me or you're literally starting from scratch. That's one of the things I really like about it. I see people from all different walks of life here, all sharing a common goal. No matter how or why you came here, I hope you all find what you're looking for and have much success in the new year.

Excellent article. Like you I do not fit exactly into the four types. I was someone who had a fairly prestigious professional position that I did not like and wanted a new income stream. I think that perhaps there is a 5th category. People who are in employment who want to escape the corporate rat race.
If people are looking and willing to passionately work hard - they will find success - 100%. Thanks Barb!

Barb,
I can't argue with your perception or your experience of WA but the majority of the people I know and have met don't fit into the four 'categories' you mention and if I had just come across your article by chance I would think it was very narrow, I would feel excluded and wouldn't sign up.
I'm like you, Beverly and don't fit into the four categories. I'm looking to broaden my horizons, learn something new (I most certainly have,) and make an attempt to replace my J O B income.
You make a good point. For whatever reason, those are the people who stand out to me, but it does narrow things down a lot. I think I'll have to do a "part two" follow-up. I'm living proof that it goes well beyond the categories.
Thanks for the post .I fit into the first category . I have been unemployed for a while now and have always wanted to start my own business . I think I may have found an important tool to make that happen here at WA.
Thanks. I started totally green from scratch. Its so diverse here, as you said, its for everyone. Judy
