Teach an old dog new tricks
I would like to start with thinking everyone in the WA community. I just completed phase 2 of the training, and i'm looking forward to phase 3.
When I started this journey my knowledge of computers was let's just say, when I needed help I called on my grand kids. Now I'm learning how to build a website, I had no knowledge of what a widget was much less how it applied in the building of a website,
But as i continue my journey I am learning that this thing (computer) is not a big scary thing, in fact i've learned it's a very useful tool.
it's been a slow process, but it's getting better every day, I know without the help of you awesome people hear at WA I would still be sitting in front of the tv destroying my brain cells. without your encouragement I could not have accomplished any of this.
And for those that are just starting out my advice is this, stick with it don't give up. You might have to go over the same lesson like I did more than once. I have even read that even the seasoned amongst us go back for a refresher course.
To be honest I use my phone along side my computer, so I can listen to the lesson any apply it to my lesson i am learning. I might be at my computer for 10 hours, becaause to be honest it'll take me that long to grasp what Kyle is teaching. it's not Kyles teaching it my getting my head around it.
But when it clicks it's like a light goes off, so again stick with it and don't give up, because you will regret it.
thanks for listening

That's such a lovely achievement to reach!
You're doing so well. Well done and congratulations
Keep moving forward
That's very awesome, indeed, Russell! You are moving right along, my friend!
Keep succeeding!
Jeff
You're doing great Russell. Keep on truckin'. I go back to lessons and trainings too. Learning sometimes takes time. As long as you have the desire, faith, time, patience and trust in this community you will be successful. Hard work never killed us! Phil had to start over at 74 and he'll be doing some training I suggest you be a part of. I am 66. So, age is only a number. This community is all about paying it forward to help each other be successful. It's my second family that without them I would be pulling the last remaining hairs out of my head. So Papabear, keep truckin' good buddy. You're doing great.
That’s me I’m 73 and starting over, but I have never backed down from a challenge and I’m not afraid of hard work. So like buzz light year says to infinity and beyond.
I'm 78, Russell (or, as I like to put it, 18 months away from 80) and have several online businesses, some here at WA and some elsewhere. The more you do it, the easier it gets. With your positive attitude, you're sure to succeed.

Good to hear you are making good progress Russell. The training is there to go back to as many times as you need. I do this a lot to reinforce or refresh learning. Your determination and perseverance will take you towards even greater success.
Keep on keeping on.
All the best.
