How You Do Anything is How You Do Everything

It's been 2 months since I started with WA - yes, I am still pumped. Yes, I am committed to succeeding. Yes, I am highly impressed with the training provided here. I am also impressed by how quickly some people get their sites up and running, and I note where I am in my own training and wonder if I'm too slow, too pedantic, too shy - who knows.

As I was mulling this thought over, it occurred to me - well, sweetie, that is how you do everything, so what is the problem. So I'm happy to report that I am still me! A complete package, with faults, special talents, great insight - just like my website.

Blogs, for me, right now, are short posts, and form a running record of my progress. I'm still on course 3 because I get a bit bogged down in the technicalities of adding affiliate links, and some of the affiliates take time to approve my site. It's OK, - the end goal hasn't changed. For example, it took nine days for Adsense to activate my site.

Question: Am I being too patient? I work at 2 day jobs that consume 10 hours a day, and am sticking to my plan to spend at least a hour a day on WA. Is this reasonable for success?

You have more energy than I, I assure you. Keep being yourself, that is important.

Thanks, Sharon! I have a statement on my vision board "of all the things you can be in life -- be yourself"

Hey Pamela! You are farther ahead than me and I started in early January! Your number is 345 vs mine at 843. But it's just a number and I am not worried. I stumbled with bootcamp right from the start. It took me 3 weeks to come up with an appropriate domain name but I am happy I took my time.

Then I picked 2 bad themes for my site and both of them would not work... and I got discouraged for awhile... so I decided to lay off from WA for a while and I finally found a theme that works! So now I have to get back into an least an hour a day doing something with WA.

But I have been reading my emails from WA and reading some lessons. Take care and go at your own pace. If you feel anxious, then walk away from your computer for a while. That's what I do. I was soooo mad after 2 bad themes in a row that would not load up, that I wanted to quit WA! But instead I just turned off my laptop and went and had a beer! ha ha ha!! The world looks rosier at the bottom of a beer glass!

Cheers! I wouldn't worry about the ranking numbers. Of course, it's important to be connected in the WA group, but I am sure there are many members who concentrate on their websites, and not so much on their ranking. If you have time to do both - fantastic. If not, remember, your No. 1 priority is to monetize your website!! We've all got your back as you build your site.

Thank you for nice words, and for having my back... as I love a good back rub! ha ha ha!!

Thank you all for your encouraging words. It is rare indeed to find such a collective of like minded people, each with such independent minded thinking. And we all have the same goal in mind - success.

This is a marathon not a race, so therefore I think you are right on track individually :-)

Chapeau Pamela!

Success is defined in many ways. The main thing is that you keep moving forward and you ARE working each day. The only time you fail is if you stay in the same spot. Even baby steps add up over time.

If you are happy as you are and how you are going that is what is important. The main thing is to keep going.

So true!

I think your just right. You are still here, You have not Gave up. A lot of times in society we want immediate success, we got instant everything else. So that staying power will do you good in this business.
Enjoy the Ride, One day I am sure you will look back and be able to think how different your life is because that patience got you success.

Also, sometimes We are our own worst enemy. Cut yourself a break. I work from home and I work about 50 hours a week, plus i am doing this. I am Bipolar on top of that. I am still here.,

Sometimes I must remind myself that is a huge achievement. I never have time to get all my ideas done. I am sure working two jobs you have the same issue.
All I can say is keep the faith. Be nice to yourself. Do not quit,;]

I think whatever your speed is, is best for you. Trying to get someone to go faster or slower will not help the person.
You seem content with your pace so I would say, carry on.
