Beginners! Welcome! Do not quit.
If you are like me, you are probably feeling just a little impatient with yourself because you feel you are lagging behind. You are probably cursing because you seem stuck on one lesson and when you click to proceed to the next lesson, nothing happens and you get just a little frustrated because you want things to move just a little bit faster. You are probably getting started to build your website and if it's your first website, you are extremely excited about it, like I was, and you are done with the contents for your about me page and you just can't wait to share your website with the world and get started to getting traffic and interest and talking about Wealthy Affiliate but then you notice there is something wrong with your website. The visual editor is missing! Sound familiar?
I know how it feels to know exactly what you want and when you want it and how much it sucks when something goes wrong and throws you off course.
You know what you want and you want it right now! That is the altitude I tend to have and I have realized a flaw in this. I need to fully grasp that there are external forces at play in anything we may choose to do and we must take the time to understand these forces and how we can work to turn events in our favor. This is a flaw with a hidden beauty inside. A passion to get things done! I am learning to tap into that. That passion has kept me strong to keep trying till I get this right. So I am going to give you a piece of advice that I was given here by one of the wonderful members of our WA community. When you feel you have hit into a brick wall and can't seem to find a way around it, log out, take a deep breath, and remind yourself why you started out on this path in the first place. You have a dream. Are you just going to give up because the plugins have gone rogue on you or because the internet connectivity is slow today? Remember there are others with a dream of their own who share the same goal that you are aiming for.
You are surrounded by a community of friends, associates and partners in the same business, and believe me when I say, we all want you to succeed in your chosen online business. So do not get mad, just take a short break, breath, relax, rest if you must but do not quit! I am wishing you and myself every success possible and be of good cheer.

Pam, am right with you. My schedule gives me one day a week, and intermittent pieces of time during my work schedule like now where I can hit & miss. It gets hard where I have to remember what I learned from 5-6 days ago, and try and move forward. It requires a lot of patience, and making sure you completely grasp something before you move forward.
I thought this was going to be a piece of cake until I started doing the real work. My work schedule is little insane and a week has gone by already and I have not even done much. I need to put in more hours during the weekend. I feel I am really lagging behind. My website is not even close to what I want it to be. I wish you the very best and every success possible. Pamela, take a look at my profile, and blogs, and be encouraged. I have one day a week where I can actively engage in really working here. Than I have small moments while out there driving to message folks. We can do this. I have been here for 3 months, and haven't even got my website done yet where it ranks. We can't give up, or this cycle will never end.
We are all keen to make progress, however it is important that we do not skip training, we do need patience, good post and thanks for sharing your insights
