What Makes You An Affiliate Marketer?

Mom's question changed everything.

Thinking about the title to this blog made me remember something my mother said to me a few weeks ago.She basically asked me why I keep telling everyone that I am affiliate marketer.

always consider your answer before you give them.

It took me a couple of days during which time I thought long and hard about how I would answer this question. Then at around like two am in the morning I woke up and jut of nowhere had my answer. I say that I'm an affiliate marketer because I do the things that I believe all affiliate marketers do.

A Day in the Life of Well Me.

So here's a small sample of what a typical day looks like for me. At 7am I'm up getting showered and by 730 breakfast on deck. From 8 until 9 I plan my day. I start out with my goals. Set up task in my scheduler according to importance and when the alarm rings at nine. I start on the tasks for the day keeping in mind my daily and weekly goals that need to be worked on as well.

Around 12 sometimes 1 PM I take an hour and a half lunch to let myself unwind and prepare for the second half of the day. The second half of the day is usually when I do work with the training program and answer community emails and so on.

The first half is pretty much spent on fleshing out my outlines for articles and writing in general. My day always ends at 6 or 630pm.

I usually take a half hour break and then for the rest of the night I read books written by entrepreneurs which details their habits,and thought processes. I do this because I would someday like to be the next Elon Musk or Bill Gates.

spending a couple nights a week solely on researching everything I can on how to be a successful affiliate marketer and taking detailed notes is also good practice for me. Lastly I am in bed at 11pm every night as rest is very important.

Your Work Ethic Can Make or Break Your Business.

All these disciplines working together on an affiliate Marketing business is why I tell people I'm affiliate marketer. I tell them because it truly is what I do. When I'm not working which is rare I am literally thinking about some aspect of the business that needs my attention.

It Doesnt Have to Happen Over Night.

Now don't get me wrong I didn't come into WA with this mindset this is just a natural progression Into this industry as gor the first time in my life i truly feel like I'm doing what i was always meant to do.

I got started with this new work ethic by finding a book and an app on affiliate Marketing in the Google play app. Didn't take it very seriously right off but as I began to read and apply what I was learning two things happened. Firstly I became more productive and secondly my thirst to know more became overwhelming.

Now I could not go back to doing business like I was when I first walked in to WA if I wanted to. I had no clear plan of action. My goals were weak at best, and I only worked if I felt like it and it showed in my posts and website as a whole. So if I was to give one bit of advice to those of you just starting out I would say take some time write out a strong business plan with some clearly defined goals for achieving t hff e outcomes projected in your plan and work hard until you see your business plan becoming a reality and then work twice as hard. I don't recall who this quote is from but the quote goes "as affiliate m.j marketers we do the hard work now so that we won't have to so it later.
