About P3nn
Joined February 2015
My name is James and I hail from Brisbane, Australia. I'm 50 and have been unemployed for the past 8 months as I write this. Prior to that I spent my working life mainly as a machine operator in the plastics manufacturing industry.

Now I'm at the point where I feel ready to leave the old ways behind and make a new beginning for myself.

My interests are varied to say the least. I love
+ gardening, esp. pertaining to edible plants.
+ wild foods, i. E. foods you can gather from the wilderness
+ Cooking, i. E. foods from around the world
+ metal detecting, looking for various coins and artifacts
+ electronics, esp. re the Arduino and its derivatives.
+ R. C. esp re quadcopters
+ Astronomy, both simply viewing the many sights and also Astrophotography
+ Computer Programming
+ Technology, I like learning how things work
+ Fishing
+ Camping

And others of course. My goals for now are to develop my affiliate skills to the point whereby I can comfortably live off my efforts and to have the time to be able to do what I want when I want ;)

Thx Kyle

Haven't listed all of them either so there are others I can add to the mix as it were. I do have a Q re something I've been considering for a while. I have an affiliate account that I'm looking to make use of as I can see potential in it and am trying to figure out just how to proceed with it. In fact I have a 2nd option with the same mob in that I can act as a dropshipper. However for here the affiliate prog is my choice. Now they have a range of products covering a somewhat broader spectrum and I recall what's been taught re niche's so my bet would be pick one niche from their products and go with that. I also noticed on the siterubix platform that one can add pages to their site and was wondering re how many pages can one add and your thoughts about possibly how to best make use of them

Focus on just ONE website and create success with that before diversifying and creating multiple niche websites.

It only takes ONE website in one niche to be very successful online. I usually find that folks that try to do too much at once (focus on several niche websites) end up in a state of mediocrity because it can be overwhelming and you don't really ever become the expert in just one niche.

It is the experts (specialists) that create long term, successful businesses in any niche.

Hi Kyle

I understand that and that is my intent. I'm asking re future plans as I do intend the one at a time approach as suggested. Just thought it doesn't hurt to ask for future reference if I feel ready to do so. That still leaves me with the question about how to best make use of the pages for the site. If for example in my niche my products can be broken down to a couple of categories, e.g. electronic product, and books/info on said product. Would it possibly be better to dedicate a page to each on the site in much the same way as the about me and privacy statement pages are separated.

Yeah, most definitely. At some point you will likely be involved in many different niches as you expand your business. That is only natural.

Electronic products would not be a niche, that is a category with literally 1,000's of different niches within. Ex, projectors is a niche...even projector screens is a big niche.

So you can definitely narrow things down.

Just remember, this is a marathon race, not a short sprint.
So just have in mind that this online business success is not only going to take a lot of hard work from you but also dedication and plenty of time as you cannot become successful in a day or two.
Don't be in a hurry for success. Just do things right the first time around and success will meet you the harder you work.
Follow Kyle's videos and instructions and if you get stuck....well.......that is what the community is for! Just ask and you will receive everyone’s help each other out because we all care!

Hi James and thx for the welcome. That is my intent. Re success I believe in the saying "Don't try. Do!" Like you here some out there saying "I've tried every diet there is an none of them work." They don't stick to anything long enough to give it a chance to work so they never see a result. I think it's the same here. Go in with the attitude of "doing" rather than trying and you increase your likelihood of advancing many fold me thinks. I've spent far too long trying. It's time to do! ;)
