Online Business - Earn as You Sleep - Is it True?

Hey guys,

Hope you are all doing well and grinding away on your businesses and are having small as well as major successes, so to speak.

Something happened to me a few days that got me really amazed and I thought I should share it with everyone.

I think it can go a long way for some people who are still trying to figure themsleves in the online world.

So here we go...

A Bit of Trip Down the Memory Lane

Before I tell you what happened, I want to take you a few years back, when I was just starting out in the online world.

That is when I joined Wealthy Affiliate.

Soon as I joined premium, my route was the affiliate bootcamp. I wanted to promote WA and make it to vegas to meet the super affiliates so that I could learn how to excel in niche marketing, with the niche sites.

And then I would get started with a niche site Immediately I come from Las Vegas.

Pretty brilliant plan, right?

Well, don't call me brilliant, yet, becuase things went downhill a few months after.

I did the whole bootcamp course and got to the place where it was all about publishing regular content and doing program reviews to increase my chances of making premium referrals.

I worked on my affiliate website for more 6 months with no single premium referral.

Yes, I had a number of referrals for the free WA account but no one actually converted.

As with all emotional people out there, I felt sad and disappointed that nothing substantial was coming out of the site.

I even took a break from the site although I was still paying for my premium subscription.

A few weeks later, when I was reading other people's blog posts here, I had a light bulb moment and I decided to act on it very fast.

I created a niche site and started doing the certification course, the alternative course to the affiliate bootcamp.

Surprisingly enough, I was able to make sales after 3 months.

And the site has been paying me ever since. I still make a good deal of income from it every month and I even created other sites.

Now to Why We Are Here...

Back to the affiliate website.

I kept it on hold as I thought it wouldn't work for me but somehow I didn't give up the domain. I still have it.

Last year, I joined the super affiliate program by Kyle to see if I would revive it and get something out of it but a few months down the line, after following through with the program, I put it aside again.

I actually said I would keep focusing on my niche webistes. (That is IYBP here and the others on other webhosting services)

But something rather strange happened a few weeks ago....

Out of nowhere, I got new referrals!

From the affiliate website.

This is a site I have not touched for months since mid last year so I knew it was lying somewhere in the last pages of Google where no one would see it.

And to sweeten the pot, I got my first PREMIUM sale!

(You can see Kyle's message here and the numbers on the plane changed from 300 to 299)

I just couldn't believe it.

I don't know what to call it, a miracle or luck or even the true definition of earning while you are "sleeping".

I am now thinking of getting back to work on it and see if I can get more premiums.

What do you people think about it? Have you had similar experiences?
