Taking the first step.
So, I've done it. I've taken the first step. I went Premium and I've completed the first section of training. So far, I am really pleased with the format of this program and the amazing amount of support. I wish I had known about this years ago!
This is not the first time I have taken a large step toward a brand-new entrepreneurial venture. I am a bit nervous, mostly because my last one overwhelmed my life for months and ended up fizzling out... and I was left burnt-out and devastated (financially and emotionally). But I am not one for giving up and I am trying again! This time I feel like I will be more prepared, more organized, and not pulled in a hundred different directions by competing scams and contradicting information. I feel very good about this and already have tons of ideas for getting started.
I am still a bit overwhelmed by all the things I need to do to get started, but I I am trying to take things step by step. How do you all overcome overwhelm?
My other issue that I have always struggled with was perfectionism. I am always so worried that the first thing I put out there is not perfect - only to end up frozen with indecision.
Even writing this blog post for me is a big first step. I have always been very independent and have a hard time asking for help. Even now, I am worried about criticism, asking stupid questions, and even just putting myself out there. I am a member of tons of entrepreneur Facebook groups that I hardly ever post in, and often wonder, how do these people just write what they're thinking and send it out to the world like that? It's a struggle for me and I'm writing this to try to start overcoming it.
So, thank you to everyone who has already welcomed and encouraged me. Thank you to Kyle and Carson for putting together such a great platform and community. I hope to be able to look back on this post down the road and see the incredible progress that I've made.
Because hey, you have to start somewhere.

Well done, remember a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step ,I am alot like you so can relate to the crippling fear of not doing well enough but to achieve the goals you have here just keep taking baby steps ,you will begin to find it better bit by bit , wishing you all the best

Hi,Kendra , you're saying it so well , I mean all that has been going on in my mind ever since I stumbled into WA by co-incidence.Never had I thought that one can "own" a business much less a niche, although I know that people have different needs and are looking for answers to those needs in the marketplace.Even now I still have really pined down this what this is.
