Random act of kindness

Hello fellow WA colleagues,
Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I came across this picture on worldkarmaproject.com and could not resist sharing it with you. It speaks volumes and really needs no introduction or explanation. It's a classic example of a random act of kindness.
Every random act of kindness changes lives in a profound way. I believe that after this encounter, both giver and receiver were never the same again.
Like the saying, " I cried that I had no shoes until I met a man who had no legs", whatever worries or problems this man had melted away at the sight of this bare-footed beggar-girl on the streets.
We all face different challenges in the course of our lives. There are so many things we would all wish we had accomplished before now. I will like to encourage everyone to focus on what we do have, rather than what we don't have. As long as we have life and are able to wake up everyday and breathe and think on our own, make use of our hands, be creative enough to do what we do, there's hope for a better future.
"A journey of 1000 miles starts with one step". Everyone is at different points in this journey. Some are ahead of others, but I know we will each get to our desired destination if we just stay focused and refuse to fail.
We're closer to our destination than when we first started, so there's no going back now. Let's keep pressing on because we are winners.
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Sincerely,
Onyeka

Thanks for reading Sylvia! It is always a blessing to give than to receive.
