Just wanted to report that the sitemap xml error I have been experiencing for about a month and half just got resolved!!!! What caused it and how did I resolve it? I PM'ed back and forth today with a blogger friend of mine that's a developer. He suggested removing all the plugins and then re-adding them one at a time an testing the website after adding each plugin. Instead of doing that, I chose to create a dummy website and then started adding the plugins I currently have on the problem site,

Hello to awesome WA family! It's so great to watch our beloved community continue to grow on a daily basis! The greatest thing is that the diversity factor and international flavor is even better. I have been working on a few projects and just launched a new work-at-home blog niche website. I will really appreciate it if you all can visit and leave comments on as many of the pages and posts as possible. Here's the link to my newest addition, http://createasolidincomefromhome.com . I have also a

I hope everyone had a good weekend! The weekend always appears to be very short. On Friday, it's TGIF and it feels like you've got time on your hands. Before you know it, it's Sunday and the weekend is over. How time flies! I have been viewing email alerts and "liking" posts or comments from my cell phone on the go. I haven't been commenting as I would love to due to time constraint. It has been a very busy few weeks at work (I do have a full time job). I see we are continuing to gain new membe

On writing....... "There's a difference between writing for a living and writing for life. If you write for a living, you make enormous compromises.... If you write for life, you'll work hard; you'll do what's honest, not what pays." "People say to write about what you know. I'm here to tell you, no one wants to read that, cos you don't know anything. So write about something you don't know. And don't be scared, ever.” On feelings.... "I want to feel what I feel. What's mine. Even if it

3 months later - Am I there yet? Today is my 3 months anniversary at WA. I am very excited and proud that I have made it thus far. There have been a lot of sleepless nights, working sometimes all night. Meanwhile, I have a full time job, three teenage children and a husband to take care of! Don't ask me how I am able to do it. All I can say is I don't even think about it, like the NIKE commercial, I just do it! I must say the motivation is seeing the finished product and the ove

It's fathers day. It's that special time when we celebrate fathers and the role they play in our lives and in society. I am blessed to have had a father who was every inch the kind of father anyone will wish to have. I had no doubt that he loved me because it showed in the way he looked at me with pride. In his eyes, I was simply the best, most beautiful and smartest kid. He played soccer with me, he showed me how to fix things around the house, he took me with him to choir practices

Hello fellow WA colleagues, Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I came across this picture on worldkarmaproject.com and could not resist sharing it with you. It speaks volumes and really needs no introduction or explanation. It's a classic example of a random act of kindness. Every random act of kindness changes lives in a profound way. I believe that after this encounter, both giver and receiver were never the same again. Like the saying, " I cried that I had no shoes until I met a ma

The quote featured on the image on this post has been on my mind and I just thought this will be a great time to share it. Lately, many of our WA colleagues have been going through difficult times in different areas of their lives. First I applaud them for having enough confidence in the community to share their struggles with us. I know there are a lot more going through even worse than we've heard about, they just don't feel comfortable sharing. I understand, I just want to let them know

I have always had a passion for poetry. It is powerful, liberating and it knows no barriers or boundaries. When I started my first blog, anyonecanblog.com, I established a 1-minute tip category that features words of wisdom and encouragement to help readers stay in control of their day. Over time, I found myself writing poems instead. As I continued to build a collection of these poems, I made the decision to move them to a place where they can be exclusively featured, rather than get lo

What is inspiration Inspiration can be defined in many ways. The Free Dictionary defines it as a "stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity, a product of your creative thinking and work." According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, "inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative." These definitions relate directly to the state of mind we need to be in to stay relevant as
