How to find a niche within yourself. Unusual technique!
This may seem pointless to you at first but the deeper you look the more you may find out.
If you are struggling to find a passion or niche for something, here is an unusual technique I came across quite some years ago.
See yourself in the time where you were between 7 and 14 years old. What was your passion then? (They say this is what you should proberbly have done all your life).
What might that have been? (Airplanes = pilot)
Mad about ..., collected ..., wrote ..., drawing..., dancing ..., acting..., stamps..., collecter cards..., a sport..., and so on.
Give yourself a break with pen and paper and the brew,(drink), of your choice and get those juices flowing! If you still have parents, ask their opinion of your behaviour or creativity etc during those years?
The next step is making sure you are not being too broad about the subject, think of it as a more specialised subject, product, genre, etc.
Then hit the keyword search and away you go.
I hope this may help some of you crack "that thing"!

That is so true! I've been searching for myself a lot and looking into my past, I found out so much but unfortunately, I haven't followed my inner self and NOW, I don't want to give up on the 2 most important things in my life that are within myself since I was a baby I believe. Helping other people and creativity! That became so important that nothing can stop me to achieve those 2 most important things! Thank you very much for your wisdom on that! Good advice mate, everyone was deeply passionate about something when they were young, and it's a good idea to tap back into those passions
I wish it was my invention - but goes back to Napolean Hill and his fellows days - still though relevant! (Ooops beer - can not spelll). 24H30 UK time. Ha!
Very good ideas on finding a niche. I've been having a problem with a finding a good niche. I believe it's due to the fact that, like everybody else starting out, are trying to find that gem that nobody else has.
Exactly right - but if one does the classes, they will soon feel the motivation building inside - the rest will follow! - and of course, reach out for help when it is needed!

Oh man.. This is tough..my passion was reading... Books books books!!! I would read two or three at a time...but I don't have time like that anymore.... But I love researching sharing info AFTER I have read! Which is what I though my niche would be...sharing the info I've learned or read on a particular area,...and promoting through books..oh my I think I found it..my niche that is lol!!
