Finally back to the website and writing content with the hope that I'm not making too many grammar errors. Not only back to the website, also I getting some yard work done. For awhile I thought I was going to advertise for a herd of goats to get the grass under control.

I have a small vegetable garden and our usual herb garden done. No Straw bale garden this year, no way could I handle the bales to get them in place. Hop yard is in pretty good shape, just a little work to do there yet to get it up to par. (New post coming for website, featuring 8 weeks of hop growth in photos)

Starting a Rose hedge along the front of the house where I have problems getting anything but weeds to grow. Starting with 3 Robin Hood bare root plants this year to see how they do. If they grow then another 6 or 7 next year. Weed barrier to stop the weed growth and mulch to hold it in place. The first 3 plants I got in the ground today along with a couple of thornless climbing roses.

I guess by now you know that my healing from the last knee surgery is going very well, two more Physical Therapy sessions and my torture chamber misery is over with.

I'm guessing that you love to garden. Glad to hear that your knee surgery is almost behind you. I love roses and am always glad to hear when someone plants roses. We just moved this past November and there aren't many roses where we are. If we stay here I plan on putting in a multitude of roses. Especially climbers. But we have many deer despite living in the city. Fortunately they all stay in the back so I can plant my roses in front where they can climb up to the porch. And a hop garden. How exciting. Do you make beer?

Sheila,
Thanks you for replying to my blog post. Yes I do love gardening. My flower beds, herb garden and hop yard are all producing a products that substances my family.

My passions include brewing beer. Started brewing in 2007 and have a few medals to show for the beers I've entered into competition. Here is the URL to my website.

Well congratulations on your brewing success. I had no idea. My husband before he died got into beer brewing so I know a bit about hops, not much. Enough to know I love the smell of them. I used to love the smell of one of the dark beers he brewed. I had to give it up, it got the best of me, alas. So my beer drinking days are over now. I don't miss it too much, except on really hot days when sitting down with a really cold brew would sure be nice. I'll check out your website. Thanks for sharing.

Joe, I love your website. The colors are stunning. That ripe wonderful gold is fabulous. Makes me think of ales and beer. Perfect coloring for that subject. I like the entire site. Can't for your reviews.

Gardens tend to give those knees therapy when planting! take it slow and easy, keep the epsom salts handy!...Glad to hear you are getting around so well.

So glad you are doing better! Take it easy, though.

Just take it easy Joe,you wouldn,t want to set yourself back because you are working too hard.

Yeah, Joe, seems like you're doing great.

Good work Joe!
