Finding my Calling

Okay, so I figured that in light of my reent adventures, it's about time for another blog post on here. As I have recently found my calling over the past week, I figured it would be a perfect time for it. That calling is my new website, The West Lothian History Hub.

But before I tell you about my recent project, let me tell you first the backround and how I came about creating this.

Creating Content

So, I stumbled upon the Wealthy Affiliate Platform back in December last ear. I have to say that I was quite Impressed by whats available here. Although I have been tinkering around over the years with more websites than I can cre to remember, this was the first time I had seriously looked at creating meaningful content for SEO purposes and with the intention of converting.

I have to say that the Training here has been amazing and it didnt take me long to uograde to Premium membership and soon after, Premium Plus. The live training videos are brilliant.As a result, I have decided to base my training on a 'Make Money Online' niche and I launched my website www.kwidzin.org back in Decembe.

This has been a great way of not only learning a lot of skills, but recycling them too by passing them on in the form of my website.

A New Site

However, having up to 10 websites as a Premium member and 50 as a Premium plus member, I decided to do a few sideline websites too.

When the Inspiration has grabbed me, I have created these sites, but some of which have never really been taken much further, until recently.

The West Lothian History Hub

Well, I have to say that history has always been a keen hobby and Interest of minre. I especially like local history as its easy to get into the field and look at stuff with my own eyes. This has always been an interest i've had since i was a child. I was always off wandering and going to places nearby that interested me.

As an adult, things havent changed much on that front. So a liittle while ago when i upgraded to Premium membership, I decided to create The West Lothian History Hub, a local history website to where i currently live and also grew up.

This was actually an idea I came up with around 12 years ago when i created a Facebook group of the same name. This group actually became really popular quickly and was soon full of keen active contributors.

Nowadays, i can not go on there for months and come backk to find that the group has been taking care of itself well enough. The only thing i'd need to do is perhaps delete a few spammy posts, although i did state quite clearly on a pinned post that spammers will be banned. After having kicked a few asses out of the groupo for cntinious spamming, it now seems to be prettyy clear of that behavious now..

So, I figured it's about time to pull it all together and make a formal website of it all. Hopefully at some pont I can make this into a members ste too where people can contribute their own articles, etc. Maybe a bit like Wikipedia but niche specific.

Personalisation works wonders

Having a personal interest in this niche works a million wonders and i am now finding that researching my articles is a great pleasure. Even on the bus, i can still read up on things i want to write about.

Having also decided to try and keep fit b cycling, this is also a great opportunity to get out in the field and take some phtos.

Anyway, here's my new website in the link below here. It's currently in a pre launch phase as i still want to get all of the published articles finished before I start advertising it loads.But I hope to have that completed within the next week or so. So i hope ou enjoy readining it. RTheres plenty more articles to come too.
