A few months ago, I posted an article regarding the use of Google+ and how great it is because, it helps with the rankings. Yes It does, but it is not enough.

As a matter of fact back then, I published a couple of posts on Google plus and a couple of days later, when I entered the titles of those articles on Google both posts were on google's front page. Of course, the link was directing to my google+ account. This is fantastic I though,t I am doing great all I have to do is every now and then, is to publish a post on my website and Google+.

A few weeks later, I tried to enter my website from someone else's computer, and I could not find it. Yes I could not find it. Then I tried to enter through those Google+ posts, after all I am on Googles front page. To my astonishment I was not on the first page, I was not on the second Page, I was not on the third page, the fourth and the fifth. This is where I stopped looking for those posts.

Then I realized, I was number one in Google only from my computer, the rest of the world does not know me. There must be someone out there who has visited my site, or not?

That was when I started looking back at WA's training and I found Google analytics, I installed them into my site, surely someone is actually visiting my site and now I will definitely know.

The reality was harsh again, I had very few visits per day, from one, to nine at the most and they only stay in my site for a very short time. I had to improve my site,the content but mostly the looks.

I put a lot of effort in improving my site by adding more quality content, to actually changing the theme and the looks. At the end I had a better site,still the looks need work, but the traffic was not there.

Fortunately I joined a training group to watch Jay's 21 minute ranking method and that opened my eyes.

I kept notes and the next day I started applying all of his steps, firstly registering with Google webmasters and then doing everything else he suggested.

Things have started to roll, my website and my posts are now ranked not indexed and I can actually find many of my posts on Google, not on the first page, the second, the third and the fourth are fine for me now. Bear in mind if your website is a couple of months old, do not expect sudden changes, but you will get more traffic and you will get to google's front page fairly soon.

Nevertheless, I am upset with myself now for not following the webinars and all other courses here In WA, I could have done much better.

My advice to you is once you'set up your site, keep doing the courses and the webinars, never stop, there is always something new out there.
