For the domain it is best to ask new host for help.

If i have a blog relevant to both websites that I own- will Google know i'm not plagerizing?
Thanks soooo much to all of you for all the great advise.
The deal is I have two websites in the survival/prepping niche
The first (PlanetPrep) is broad covering the whole spectrum of the subject. The second (prepperFoodCritic) is much the same but super focused on the food storage aspect of survival.
Very often lately I find that a post ive written for the second would also work well on the first. I guess I'll be honest and say I thought it might save me some time and work. Oh well.
Everyone says listen to Marion, so listen to Marion I will..
Thanks again everybody.
Steve
My opinion is that google may see it as duplicate contents and consider the second site as plagiarism. But then again, I wonder if it will recognize that even though its the same blog, it does pertain to both niches.
Google will see two identical text, the first published is original the second is plagiarism. Not a good move. You will get in trouble.
It's probably best to write an introductory paragraph or two and link to the other website's full post.
thanks Marion for that reply....i better remember it in case i fall into the same situation in the future.

This is a great way to get backlinks from one site to the other - going in both directions.
It really depends, if you're going to write about a topic on each website that is pertinent to both niches, and you frame it in a different way for each, then that should be fine.
If however you are going to do a copy and paste job, it will be to your disadvantage: search engines hate duplicate content and plagiarism..
Can you give us a bit more info?
If you have a relevant post on one of your websites, which somehow would fit into another niche of yours by writing a similar or shorter version of the original content, you can referral to this already existing post via a backlink.
In this case you show professionalism and it won't be plagiarism.
I once had to do it. It even helped me shorten my article a bit putting in the link of the other article into the post, referring if more info is wanted on this topic.

Since my site is an awareness/political survival site- I want to build a community where they reach out to each other and contribute their ideas and such/ I have no clue how to
Bro, idk if it's possible to do with a WordPress blog. You can try to run it as a sound off site. As far as live chat, I have no clue if you can do that here on wa's server. Pm kyle and ask him if you are able to something like this. Good luck bro.
Thanks for your input man, I think you are right. I'll bag this idea and try to come up with something...
