Looking for the Preppers and Survivalists in the community
Attention Preppers and survivalists
My name is Steve and my wife Carrie and I operate 2 websites in the prepper/survival and alternative news niches' We would like to meet others with similar sites/interests for friendship, collaboration. and guest posting.
We are deeply interested in real news around the world as well as in the United States. The important news is rarely reported on mainstream media so if you think an important story needs to be told from your corner of the world- let us know so we can report on it!
We also want to learn and share survival techniques we have never heard of that work. One example is people in the mid-eastern desserts is the wearing of clothes and head dresses to keep your body cool in the heat! An example of a news story would be the Gates Foundation popping up to deliver vaccines in your part of the world and later the affect to those who accepted those vaccines.

Have you thought about building a membership site of Prepper videos that you could use to build leads/mailing list? It's something I'm getting into (before I joined WA). Here's an example site (it's a work in progress): http://investingingold.smartmember.com
That site is built using a platform called Smartmember and not WordPress. The platform also has a built-in forum, autoresponder and link cloaker so no extra services are needed. The example site above was created using curated videos from youTube. If you created a course about prepping, you could build a membership site you could charge for.
If you wanted to build a membership site in WP itself, Wishlist Member is probably the best plugin.
