Seek to connect more than exchanging tips

I just came back from an afternon drive with my four daughters as we always do everyday. Today the difference is that I came to wonderful news that forced me to jump with joy, it's a milestone people MY SITE HAS JUST INDEXED ON GOOGLE. Even though I am not sure I have real clue what that means but hey it is somehing to be celebrated.

I will tell you I can squarely credit the give and take culture of giving comments to other people's sites, I bumped on a post by Kyle and I lapped it up. For two days straight I been working on finding out how it works and I can tell you it works wonders. This is how I have used it:

1.) understand the niche you are in and look for websites in that niche or anything related first. (even though I ended up getting sucked to other niches with great content)

2.) go and read other people's posts and sites, do not just browse through genuinely read through.

3.) leave an authentic comment for the admin.

4.) then go to the section and ask let the owner know you have left a comment on their website and politely ask if they do the same. I have found out that most people do respond quickly and for some it takes them time.

I also have found out it is easier to track if I select the sites and read them first before I can ask for comments. Also leaving a comment that is open ended so that you attract engagement with the owner is quite the greatest way to ensure that you expand your network and have someone who will also genuinely go to your website and comment with passion as you have made a connection.

It is also important to set limits for yourself per day or per session so that you do not get consumed with coments alone but you can do other things on your site as well. for me I have given myself to at list review ten sites in an hour session and comment on at least five of those and leave a message for all the owners.

This saves me time and becomes one of To Do things in my list that is timed and it always feel like I have accomplished my goals.

Maybe you are like me, new to all this warm treatment, I would suggest that you seek to connect more than gather comments and giving comments because these people become a big part of your army of partners and mentors who can bounce ideas with inthe future and you can end up collaborating with most of them at different points of your career.

The sooner you realise that there is no competition in this platform the better it is for your progress because you begin operating from a completely different energy of gratitude and giving.

Next Stop for me is Ranking and I have no doubt I will shoot for first page rankings in no time.
