Website Colums
Does anyone know how to get Wordpress to create columns for a blog? I want the blog on the right side and columns on the left. I can't finish and publish my site thru WA until I find out how. Thanks!

It's theme dependent, as Anita said, as to whether you can have the sidebar either left or right or both sides simultaneously. In a Page check Templates on the right hand side, and in a Post, click on Screen Options (top far right) and tick Layouts and see what it adds beneath the editor window. However, you can do roughly the same within a page or post using shortcodes. If you're a *visual* person I recommend http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/ There's an example site at http://utmce.siterubix.com/columns and also training on it here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/ultimate-tinymce-plugin-the-ultimate-training :) Rich.
Check the theme settings for the wordpress theme you chose. There is usually a layout option to put columns on the right or left, some themes have three columns.
Thanks guys. I'm new to building a site. I went with two columns. I liked the theme I guess. Thanks again.
