Getting on the interstate, the Coca Cola truck was 2 cars in front of me and then a Dodge Dart, Neon or something. I heard a screech and hit the breaks, someone passed on the left.

The Coca Cola truck stalled, Little ditty Dodge car screeched and I pressed the breaks wondering if it maybe a little too late.

Smelling burnt rubber and squealing tires fishy tailed and an SUV passed onto the right half onto the shoulder. The fishy tail spun sideways, carefully not to over correct it flying sideways on the freeway how did it wiggle straight?

Nice, still on the road in slow-mo.

Off pass 3 more rigs on the left through blind spot, weee there goes business cards all to the front passenger floor. In a whirl, I went and then right back straight, just humming along with a faster heart rate and a song in my heart.

Bite down with an extreme searing pain.

I had clamped down on the dental work drilled into my face yesterday. Dentist had to get the filling out that split in half from stupidly chewing rock hard gum. I always check expiration dates, but missed the gum one.

Wow it is good to be alive, despite the pain.

Success is 7 natural child births and then crumbling and crying from a single tooth filling.

I started a comment for Jay on Success and Accomplishment, but it got too long after my most recent near death experience.

For all who are interested, this blog explains thoughts and feelings for Jay's request on accomplishments and success.

Accomplishments are like numbers. It equates to work for nothing if no one else cares about 151 blog posts, 3.1k followers and around 11,000 total network, including invites that have not accepted.

I do keep track. Because the effort involved is worth it to share.

It is like your favorite radio station's favorite songs of the day. WA rank stayed steady top 10, and a few months ago Nurse Becca Bubble popped over to the ambassador status. This is not a game or cartoon. While it is possible to play around with numbers, rank means nothing without actual support and truly paying it forward.

Some of my first blogs had maybe 1 single note of kindness to start out. And then the most popular one had over a hundred. With this online business community, long time leaders can get a couple thousand comments on a post feasibly. That is due to engaging style and quality of content.

Looking at Wealthy Affiliate accomplishments, It can be listed like most of the team who reads blogs as website built, Google ranking, completed entrepreneurship training, finished bootcamp, continual learning, increased earning.

It is fantastic celebrating accomplishments and wishing for ice cream cones to jump in the tummy without making the volcanic pain of birtha bad chomper ringing in my right ear.

I am happy to say I Created 15 trainings and Tutorials with more tips and how to embedded in 151 blog posts. Another accomplishment may be Daily checking on live chat. To see friends and try to make someone smile. Now that is an accomplishment.

I am so glad to say I made my mark.

After dental procedures yesterday, I had an inservice for bloodborne illness procedures and compliance. As the novocaine shots worn off along with the tasty numbing toothpick, I wondered if I would bite my tongue trying to explain my sharps container story.

The med cart had a styrofoam cup on its side with contaminated needles, the sharps was full and refills out in yonder shed ten lightyears away. The rassa frassa styrofoam cup was out of sight out of mind, until the dirty needles ended up in my hand.

Clock slowed to a halt? Scrubbing ...scrubbing

Then over to urgent care for the whole 9 yards and no one passed medications making the shift stretch to 2 a m. No bathroom break with thoughts thankful, yes! of the chance to pee in the cup.

Follow-up, so thankful not to get an HIV positive result.

No safety activated on the needles in a hall with results for a fearful list of blood borne pathogens.

The take home: take no chances.

Follow up, get tested. Take proper precautions.

If it sounds like too much of a lecture, too bad. Do it in spite of the novocain.

Taking control of situations at the right moment when things go wrong is an accomplishment. And when we do share lessons learned it's a part of success.

Sometimes making your mark is telling the story of your success, and sometimes it is telling about overcoming failures.

Without bringing them to light, no one gets the benefit.

I'm not miss cleaver over achiever, and yes things go wrong. But after the long day, last night a mentor and influencer of nurse bloggers waved her fairy blogmother wand and fixed some problems going on with my website. And now the wicked pain tooth fairy serves as a reminder of thankfully I did not drink too much macchiatto like Ricky Bobby, or I could be Tboned on the road. Noting achievements can be translated to counting your blessings or praise for good karma if you're into that. But to success and accomplishment, I say:

Ha ! I made my mark.
