Becoming Premium
So a few days ago, I've started my own website with WA. I've learnt some neat things, the basics and the ropes. But I wanted more, I wanted my website to achieve more than just the 'standard'. I wanted it to evolve into something that I know I'll devote my effort and time into. I've upgraded to Premium because I know I'll need all the help I can get, and a small payment monthly is a minor cost for an astronomical reward. To the future of mine and my fellow like-minded individuals!

Congrats Roger! You've got a great attitude and that's going to take you far in this industry.
In regards to our previous conversation, do you know of any games that are VERY similar to Monaco? That game was fantastic but it was too short! I wasn't ready for it to end.
Congratulations again!
Derek
Thanks Derek
Monaco is a very unique game where it players takes on one of the various roles to work together to complete an objective. Monaco does it in bird's eye view style with 2D makes it all the more an unique gem in the gaming world.
Closest alternatives you can find are dependent on what mechanics you found Monaco to be fun.
The closest ever would be The Masterplan, though it is not officially released yet. When it's released, I'll look into it and see if that is the game you are looking for as it does seem fairly similar to Monaco game-wise.
For example, if you liked the stealthy style of Monaco, games I can suggest at the top of my head would be Payday 2 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldiers (both shooting games). Both not only boasting several stealth missions, but facilitates co-op in a large degree. However, that's where similarities end. If you prefer a solo style method, there are a plethora of games that have various unique stealth mechanics such as Batman Arkham series, Dishonored, Metro Series, This War of Mine (to an extent).
If you find the co-op with defined roles far more fun, I'd suggest something like Trine series. As each player per game (max.3) control one of the three unique characters with very specific roles to complete the quest given. For example, you have the warrior who is specialized to combat enemies along with his trusty hammer to deal with certain obstacles along the way. You then have the wizard who is capable of creating platforms, boxes and has the power to move objects in his will. Finally, you have the archer who is a very nimble character capable of high level acrobatics and has an arsenal of utility arrows to deal with various obstacles encountered in the game.
That being said, it's difficult to find a game (if any) that is downright similar to Monaco's rather unique design(perhaps one of the reasons why it is an amazingly popular game). However, I would like to mention a very, very special gem known as, Don't Starve Together. It's a 2-D sidescroller with co-op elements, and though the game isn't finished, it shows amazing potential as a game. It certainly is worth taking a look at once it reaches completion. This is all I can think of at the top of my head, I'll take a look into more games that maybe similar to Monaco. I'm sure there may be a gem that'll tickle your fancy!
